💼 Careercow Will Stancil / whstancil / stancilculture - "Vibecession" proponent and Biden booster neolib, the "chihuahua of twitter", Important Master's Degree (in Black People), chooses endurance mode "lolcowing through it" as an argument strategy, "Proud member of Do-Something Twitter", raped by Grok

What dire circumstances do you think it would take for Mr. Stancil to purchase a gun?
That is a wonderful question. I imagine that Mr Stancil is strongly anti-2A, but perhaps he has purchased a firearm in the last few weeks. Of course, because of his extensive studies of black culture he has bought himself a Hi-Point, the finest of firearms. He even bought himself those purple paralyzers,

(I wish I could find the original Purple Paralyzer video, but Google is a jeet scented shithole when it comes to search these days, absolutely useless)

You know, the more I think about it, Stancil would first push hard for California level gun laws in Minnesota. Permits to purchase, taxes out the ass on guns and ammo and of course waiting periods.

Then, tragedy would strike. Maybe his Somali neighbors would get a little uppity and law and order would fall apart. Only then would he try to buy a gun and realize he can't just walk out the door with an AR the same day because of the very legislation he supported.

The guy at the gun store would tell him "Yes, it do be like that Mr. Stancil. Your politics made it this way"

It was from Gang Wars Oakland 2 and Discovery decided to be a faggot and copyright strike all the videos.

At the moment, The Will Stnacil Show has a higher rating than Game of Thrones.

I think this episode was a bit more disjointed and less entertaining than the previous two. I think it really butts up against the current limitations of AI. Either way, I giggled at the most raped man alive.

I loved the music, and I did laugh, which is more than I've done with recent episodes of South Park, the Simpsons, or Family Guy.

Needed a little bit more Jamal though. I'd like an original story on Jamal some day, why he hangs out with an obnoxious huwite-t like Mr. Stancil in the first place. I'm willing to roll with whatever Emily puts out though, she's obviously more talented than I am.

To add a different perspective, this was the best one yet. This is a series that could become stale incredibly quickly, but this episode avoided that by being it's own thing. Using some of the actual tweets is a nice touch because those were fucking hilarious. There's also some continuity from the previous episodes with the Grok bots and Clockwork Orange Will. The throwaway reference to Roko's basilisk was a nice touch as well.

Despite production limitations, this is better than most stuff on television (not exactly a high bar, but still) and if the series remains fresh, it will get picked up by the wider Internet in time. Is there anyone who isn't at least a little excited for the next episode?

I'll probably earn a puzzle piece (or maybe Easter Island head) for this analysis, but it's worth posting.

Considering Emily Youcis' heartbreaking background (i.e. being a victim of child sex trafficking/aging out of foster care & ultimately ending up institutionalized following a suicide attempt) I cannot help but wonder if it's a factor in the show's plot/Youcis' decision to make the "Will Stancil Show" in the first place. Will Stancil is a snapshot of your generic out of touch, wealthy white "male feminist" progressive - i.e. folks who generally hold pro-sex worker/legalize prostitution views. (Note: laws that decriminalize prostitution are known to drastically increase incidents of child sex trafficking). Like, I could see why a sex trafficking victim would be monumentally pissed off when a shitlib like Will Stancil gets nationwide media coverage for being hypothetically "raped" by an AI chatbot, considering actual sex trafficking crimes are swept under the rug/rarely garner such media attention.

Anyways, can't wait for episode 4! & does anyone know if Emily Youcis made the music for the episode 3/if the song in the episode is real? It was a bop.

It's "Sex Crime" by Eurythmics from their "1984" concept album. It might have been altered in some way but to me it sounds like the original. Haven't compared in detail.

That's autistic!

Do we have an example of Will talking about legalizing prostitution or sex workers being hecking valid? https://x.com/search?q=from:@whstancil sex workers&src=typed_query

I imagine Emily Youcis finds the Grok rape funny, like so many of us. Which is why she spent days making a cartoon about it.
