It's possible to manipulate with AI strategies, you just have to go into a lot of detail if you want to avoid scenarios like that.

I admit I have been lazy with the AI scripting, I do just enough so that unified RUS doesn't do anything too stupid. Do want to improve the AI eventually, but that's another item on my growing todo list.

@GoodWinSon Going through the old pages of the thread, I want you to tap me when you finish up the Bormann & Speer content and move onto America, specifically Yockey, I wanna make the entire American Pacific War tree for when he declares war on Japan to buckbreak them into giving up all of Asia.

Would you mind making it applicable to all possible presidents? I want the US to basically almost always jump the Japanese during the GAW, reclaiming the entire pacific should be possible for everyone I feel. Of course, giving Yockey his own unique flair would be always be an improvement.

I was hanging out in the TNO Requiem. There was some interesting information on their American rework.

So, no starting Nixon. It makes sense that the Nixon that people know and love was heavily shaped by him losing in 1960 and the Civil War in the Republican Party between the Yankees and the Cowboys.

It's funny because Bormann and Goering are pretty pro-China in their content. On the other hand, Speer always seeks to reapproach the Japanese. I imagine forming the KN will be complicated by all the massive wars going on.

My thoughts right now are to give the player more diplomatic options, while scripting the AI to lean towards certain actions. Some might disagree, but PDX games are best when the ai is partly scripted to always do some specific events, like Prussia forming Germany in Vic2, barring player interface.

In that sense, I want to make forming the KN difficult, to the point the ai rarely does it.

A thought I actually had was that ww3 should happen in the 80s, and the KN is one of the rare methods if avoiding it, but that's for later.

I'm doing some minor GFX work between updates right now, and I did a couple of portraits today for Kido's (planned) mechanic. The latter is based on a color image, the former is colorized with AI with some of the more problematic parts being recolored. I feel like they both came out pretty well but even with a fair bit of adjustments they do feel a bit bright compared to the other portraits. AI colorization is very much a mixed bag and it takes a bit of effort to bring it in line style-wise.

I've also patched Konoe into the YSK GUI. You know. For "fun".

I ended up using Hotpot because it was near the top of search rankings and I didn't want to get bogged down searching for the ideal service. It does tend to shrink images a little (they're trying to charge you for full size, of course) but you get a few different settings and at least one of them should come out OK.

If you think about it, if not for Slackjawed, Rises Again nor Requiem would not exist. Pink is actually the lead dev color in the code by the way.
