How much you think they get payed to do something like this? Becuase the only way I would do something this stupid is if I get paid like 2k.
Not sure. Maybe like between 15 and 20 dollars hour? Maybe a little more. (I'd have to try and track down what I've read online.) Not a ton, but if you're an unemployed or underemployed leftist, it's pretty easy work to just march around with a bunch of signs for the cameras.

Protesting is hardly effective in an atomized society where the majority of communication and propaganda happens online. Its a relict from the 19th century that was misused in the 20th century to legitimate top down policies by pretending that the issues were bottom up legitimated due to "masses" of people taking it to the street. In todays information bubbles, as this no Kangs clown show and as well the Pro-Fentanyl Wendys burner riots show, taking this this forum, xitter and other social media platforms as an example, are either ignored by the majority of bubbles or mocked. The only demographic still giving a damn about protesting pretending to show legitimization for an issue are *drum role* Boomers and retarded X stuck in the 90s
If you are going to post these self-important shitbricks of text, learn how to fucking spell.

I love how in Amerimutt-stan people protest on the narrow pavements along massive boulevards.
The smart ones know better than to get on the roads. Lots of states are putting legislation in motion to make it legal to run over street rioters trying to block cars.

The local announcement for the wet fart protest they had here explicitly said "we have PD support and protection but only if we stay on the sidewalk, off the streets, and off private property."

It's also how you can tell it's a complete astroturf effort. They knew in advance what Uncle LEO's feelings were on the matter (i.e. here they knew that "protection" was begrudging, and contingent on good behavior), they warned people ahead of time not to misbehave and they were reasonably confident participants would actually behave themselves. Contrast this with antifa-style riots where "marching orders" are given but they send lawyers to protect people they know will get arrested (because they misbehave in "coached but uncontrolled" fashion) instead of trusting the foot soldiers to behave themselves.

It should be dark in Chicago right about now. Are they gonna actually DO anything? C'mon, storm the ICE facility.

A real protest is when you're actually being a nuisance to the government while being peaceful and not stopping until you get your way or the government makes an ass of itself dispersing you. The fact that Liberals get permission to protest from the government, show up to listen to some losers speak and then disperse proves that they don't know how to protest. Compare that to the Canadian protests over vaccine requirements where they were disruptive to parliament for two months, forced the Prime Minister into hiding and was ultimately only dispersed through government overreach when they fucked with the United States economy.
