In fact, I’m just gonna say this night now. No one liked Bill Nye the Science Guy. It was not an entertaining show, it was not a well written show, it was bland 90’s “it’s totally wicked cool” slop. The only reason anyone has fond memories of it is because they remember the times the teacher rolled out the tv cart to play the VHS tapes of the show and they didn’t have to sit through a standard lecture. Everyone remembers the movies they got to watch in school fondly even if they were bad movies because nobody liked school.

So what? Fuel taxes, vehicle registration, inspection fees, etc, are usually earmarked specifically for the roads which cyclists do not pay yet use. Hell they demand their own lane for themselves! They're also supposed to obey traffic laws, stop signs, red lights and all that but how often do we see that happen? How often are those laws enforced against cyclists? Ever seen a cyclist stopped at a DUI checkpoint? License check? You can shove your bike right up your ass.
It's been apparent how fake and gay the "No Kings" stuff is since its inception. You don't organically magic up global protests with branding, official communications, permits, speakers, and the like in the couple month stretch they had for the first ones.

i think you're a bit off base with the idea that bill nye wasn't enjoyed. i knew kids (often the entire classroom when we were younger) singing the bill nye theme. the current pushback has nothing to do with his actual content. it's entirely about the fact that he's sold out the idea of teaching kids science in an engaging way to push lgbt propaganda.
I do not understand leftists and their "codes". Why is everything encoded to them? How can I as a normie decode these things. I once had an uncomfortable interaction where Man A (of the fruity homo variety) told Man B (of the normal variety), that he was very woman-coded. I've been told the matrix is "trans-coded", which I can't help but think has something to do with shitty download rates on modern streaming services.

Boomers, of which the majority never saw the inside of a tertiary educational "institution", as they didnt have to because they could easily afford real estate, 2 cars and 3 months of unpaid holiday a year as unskilled laborer for being early in the pyramid scheme and had it bailed out 35 years in a row, have that mythical imagination that anybody with a degree is an authority that cant be questioned. So to get the Boomer vote every politician needs to have a "Dr" or "Phd." attached to his name, else the Boomer might start to question.
Unless you're stuck in Spanish class and forced to watch Princess Bride dubbed in Spanish, lacking all the iconic line reads of the original script. I don't know why they didn't just turn on Spanish subtitles.
