Zohran's an alright candidate but the unearned smugness from leftists and disgruntled Bernie Bros is fucking obnoxious.
For the last four months, the Online Left has been badgering every fucking Democrat within earshot to endorse Zohran, because they're delusional enough to think that he's their big chance at finally FORCING national Democratic leadership submit to their will.
Leftists have joined MAGA boomers in their everlasting desire to only win as long as they think it pisses off the libz:

Zohran Mamdani is running in a race where his opponents are:
1. Andrew Cuomo: A corrupt sex pest who resigned from office in disgrace after bungling his handling of COVID so badly that dozens of elderly people died entirely avoidable deaths while he tried to cover it up.
Cuomo is a grab bag full of issues, but he's over all the most contemptible (imo) because him, his brother, and the rest of his family seem to think they're entitled to a special place in politics because their daddy was governor 40 fucking years ago. Charisma,
2. Eric Adams: A cartoonishly corrupt Do Nothing Trump finger-puppet willing to sell his asshole to the highest bidder at a moment's notice.
Trying to bribe a reporter with a a $100 bill in a red Chinese New Year envelope hidden in a bag of Sour Cream and Onion chips is some truly Saturday Morning Cartoon villain shit.
3. Curtis fucking Sliwa. Granted, he's the most honest out of the three, but come on now. Come on now.
in a MAYORAL ELECTION in one of the bluest cities in the country, in one of the bluest states in the country, during a time where the Republican Party is doing everything in their power to make them unpalatable to voters nationwide before the 2026 Midterms and 2028 Election.
This was a fucking slam dunk in the making, literally the only thing anyone would have to do to win is 1) not be a piece of shit, and 2) have a (D) next to their name. Mamdani is only going to have an easier time now that Adams wizened up, cut his losses, and dropped out.

Much like AOC and other "socialist" darlings, Zohran is going to moderate over time to get anything done. This will piss off his fanbase and they will eat him alive at the drop of a hat.
It basically already happened both before and after he won the primary, leftists are allergic to actually holding power and having to act on their ideals, so they got right to purity testing.
His October 7th statement, which was quite possibly the most politically palatable version of "Fuck Israel, #FreePalestine" he could give without yelling "GLOBALIZE THE INTIFADA, IMPALE ALL JEWS ON PIKES":
and his fans started to tear into him for being a "traitor".
All it takes to become a "Liberal Zionist" is showing the slightest bit of compassion for Jews (running for mayor in a city that has 1 million Jewish voters).
