The Libertarian party used to be a completely different beast, they weren't nearly as idiotic as they are today. Back in the day Libertarians were strong supporters of Immigration Enforcement and strong border security. They believed in sending all the troops in the middle east home and having them actually defend our cities and towns here at home. This is all fundamental Libertarian beliefs as without these beliefs the Libertarian ideals will not work. Yet today you see Libertarians are against having any border, they now want open borders, they are against using the National Guard or military in any way, they claim using them in Portland and Chicago is an attack on our constitution even though the idea of our military at home defending our cities was literally libertarian policy they ran elections on back during the Iraq War.
I think we all do. Reguardless of how you feel (or felt now that its over) about the conflict, a lot of people fucking died. Like a lot. Peace would be nice, so people stop fucking dying over nothing frankly.I know it'sas fuck but I really hope this supposed peace will last.

I guess by this definition I support amnesty. The "proper punishment" seems like more of a punishment to us taxpayers since we have to finance their stay in a prison that is likely an improvement over whatever 3rd world shithole they originally came from. It also makes it so there's a chance they end up back in American society if their prison sentence lasts long enough that leftists regain some sort of power and get the opportunity to release them, or even just some sad excuse of a judge who makes rulings based on Orange Man bad.
