I need some context. is MIT even capable of accepting 9,000 students, which would be about 30% of the 2028 applicants?
Although right now they are only admitting about 70% total applicants compared to the average for 1960-2000.
I wouldn't be surprised if their admission methodology is largely unchanged, just that the quality of applicants have dramatically gone down.
