Letting members of Congress decide how much they get paid may of been a mistake.
Congress isn't paid enough for what they do. It is why they always seem very keen to do what big business and lobbyist want rather then the American People. The people don't pay them enough.

May as well autistically screech that this has been a complaint monarchists and supporters of traditional aristocracy have had about liberal democracy for ages now. All it does is turn the the rulers of the country into the puppets of the aristocracy that has always existed and always will exist, while abrogating that aristocracies responsibility for actually being personally responsible for the decisions made. it is a monstrous abrogation of the duties and responsibilities that come with the wealth power brings.

In a Liberal democracy, poor upstarts get "power" and then are paid by the people who actually have the money. Just ask AOC or any member of congress that has inexplicably become a millionaire despite owning no businesses and collecting a modest yearly salary. The system by design turns the rulers of the state into marionettes puppeted by the people who have the actual power and ironically have ALWAYS had the power.

And it suits these poor copies of the kings of old because they get too benefit of all the trappings of wealth and power without carrying any attending risks and costs such trappings bring. If everything goes too shit, the actual rulers of a liberal democracy suffer no consequences. Their servants take the bullet for them instead. It has led too a corrupt and indolent noble class across the west that has allowed itself too indulge in its worst impulses and vices, along with caustic ideologies and religions because they can. They will never be held too account for it because they are but humble citizens of our egalitarian society.

I mean the most pathetic bribe ive heard a congress critter take was 10k. If paying them more would make them more loyal, fine.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Members of Congress have been trying to get paid more ever since the United States was founded. History appears to indicate that the only people that were ever happy when the the Senate and House of Representatives got pay raises were the politicians. A common argument has been that they need to get enough in order to be "less corruptible" or something like that but yet here we are in a world where they receive $174,000 annually and at the same time take in tons of money from lobbyists.

As much as I hate being one of the 108 that was just collateral damage, it really is the gift that keeps on giving. You magnificent bastard.

I just know its portrayed as hellish to eat.
Probably is by Japanese standards, but the Japanese don't really do spicy. If you want hellish to eat, if you're ever in SW Ohio, I know a Thai place that goes beyond Thai level 5 and is fantastic besides. Whatever differences I have with my fellow Farmers, I'll hook all y'all up with the good stuff. Us retards got to stick together.

Tofu isn’t bad if you pan fry it, or get it from those build-a-bowl places.

Imagine trying to impersonate someone only to make yourself look like the idiot.
The left literally cannot meme.

Its an art form of syncopation, subtlety, and severity. You can't just cruise control for cool and expect it to work the same way the professionals do it.

This has to be the worst thing I've seen all day. Firstly, why are you copying Gavin Newsom? It's a knock off of a knock off and deep fried meme in current year what's next an MLG edit? And why are they saying this likes it's a bad thing anyways?
But at least its not a wall of text, so that's an improvement for leftist meme.
How about never let bro cook again, how about bro delete this post.

You were never suppose to get rich off of representing We the People. It was considered a hardship and a community service. Keeping it such should be a deterrent from any one person making this a career. There is a major disconnect if you excuse illegal, unconstitutional and treasonous actions, because you feel someone doesn’t get paid enough. Then quit the fucking job.

This is the same mentality as stealing Nikes , iPhones and Louis Vuitton handbags, because muh rich men.

People need to have some damn integrity.

The rare based redditor who slips through the cracks comments are some of my favorite on the internet. It's got a similar vibe to shouting racial slurs in the hood.
