I dont fault the judge for drawing conclusions about what Aaron had done or even the conclusions that the judge drew. But I think (per the admittedly flawed puppet account) that the way the judge reached those conclusions procedure-ally and in terms of due process was totally and utterly wrong. There is a proper way to do things and then there is what this judge appeared to have done during the sentencing.

The second violation and the associated legal process around it during the sentencing is where I have the real problem. I think the judge seriously overstepped if the account given by the puppet is true.

But that said, I don't have any problem with him getting 14 days jail time as part of the sentence. I do have a slight problem with the 364 days suspended though. I think that is neither in the spirit of the plea deal nor is it justified in any way even by the violations.
