Can the Spanish Threads have the ability to place what Nation the LolCow or Topic it is related to instead of always having the flag of Spain?

Brits have gotten into problems for shitposting on Twatter/X so they CAN get into problems, as long as their government knows who they are.I wonder where shit lies legally. If you are German and talk about german people on an american website that is hosted and has mostly american users, are you fucked?
The government of New Zealand asked for the identities of any New Zealanders who watched the Christchurch shooting. Null just told them to fuck off. They CAN ask, but there's no reason to comply unless the servers are hosted thereCan anyone but US authorities subpoena the Kiwi Farms?
Yeah I kinda was mulling over creating a Dutch general talk channel. Hell, Omroep Gelderland ran a story on an influencer that forced minors to suck something. And all KF has NL related is a chat on a guy who was basically last relevant when Roddelpraat mentioned him in an aside 2 years ago.
Kiwi is basically old Flashback minus the drugs.I'm often surprised at how many swedes we are in this forum, but I guess the answer lies in our very old tradition of shitposting anonymously about fags and niggers being stolen from us when flashback turned woke.
Anyway, our thread in international clique is not that active, and the lol cows posted there are just actual retards most of the time, so I'm not sure our own board would add much of substance.
We should all be setting our VPNs to the United Kingdom then, and express our sinceire belief that Kier Starmer is first and foremost a wanker, and also a traitor to the sort of inbred but anyway Anglo-Saxon race? Most of us non-Americans are anonymous enough
Null probably reviews the overall posting history for possible candidates and decides based on this. If they're proven to have some sort of presence in other-language-speaking boards, as in around 50% of their posts are other-language then it stands to reason they are selected based on this. Jannies operate based on a system of trust after all.Something I'm curious about: if you get languages involved that currently trusted mods don't speak, how do you plan on getting good mods for 'em?
Patois pleaseFluent in Ebonics and Pidgin. Would like to see a dedicated Pidgin board, please
I see internationalizing the site as a way to grow horizontally and I want to encourage it. I'll be picking some moderators that speak other languages to help facilitate this. I'm not sure what else I can do to encourage growth this way though; it has never picked up steam despite my efforts in 7+ years.
I wish there were an easier way to read about lolcows from other countries without needing to know the language
I'm going to loosen the thread creation requirements for these boards so they can have off-topic discussion and see what happens
These ideas all kind of go together. Most browsers these days have built in “translate this page” commands built in. I’m also interested in the new, relaxed, thread creation requirements because I’ve been lurking around International Clique for years, browsing where I can understand & translating via browser or device where needed. The translate page feature on browsers works for the International Clique, for anyone interested.
The main reason i don't do anything besides very basic OPSEC, tbh. I don't do anything illegal, so i don't think they would want to come after me.Most of us non-Americans are anonymous enough that it's not worth the energy to find out who we are. Unlike people on social media using their irl name and identity.
