Would American bread make better paper than food?

I'm curious about how plausible it would be to turn our bread into paper since eating it has basically become a health hazard.
American bread has a lot of shit in it, Calcium propionate and Sodium propionate help prevent mold and bacterial growth, DATEM improves texture and conditions the dough, while diglycerides emulsify and extend the breads softness. and Azodicarbonamide bleaches the bread. but here's the thing, bread emulsifiers can are eerily similiar to akd used to maintain structure and calcium sulfate is similiar to calcium carbonate which both bulk out the material. with the right conditioning you could probably convert your bread into a useable paper product.

It likely wouldn't be that hard to add ethanol solvents or acetone to turn them into a pulp and dry them into paper, or some kind of bioplastic.

I just don't know enough about paper production to really tell you how feasible this would be. and yes probably less economical.

Packaged American bread is weird stuff. We also have the bread that lasts a week , it’s like styrofoam. You guys can get decent bread though right? You have bakeries and whatnot?
One thing France gets right - a boulangerie every three steps.
american white bread is like the stuff you get out of a grocery store, it's not how you thrive it's how you survive. nobody expects it to be amazing, but most people also don't expect it to contain 50% petroleum byproduct or something like that. nobody goes to a baker for bread here, that's supermarket stuff cuz it's el'cheap-o.

Bread can have many uses. When I was in the military we used rye hardbread as kindling/starter when we wanted the tent to get warm fast.

normal bread does last a week too
if its not super wet bread it will dry out instead of going moldy
dried bread can for instance be used for making meatballs, or shredded down into breadcrumbs
you can also rub a little water over it and rebake it shortly in the oven, the steam will penetrate the pores and it will be soft again
turn them into a pulp and dry them into paper
paper is made from cellulose
i dont know exactly how toxic american bread is, but if insects dont touch it you could stuff it into your drywalls for insulation instead of the asbestos/glassfiber stuff you normally use as housemeat
