We don't know whether he is dead or alive. He went missing on a trip to VA with his family guns according to his sister that can't into english writing. There is a distinct possibility that he is currently trapped in the mist. But knowing Bruno's character and luck, he's probably a survivor being chased by an olive smelling Art the Clown.

There are some major pieces missing in this story to have running away with guns in January and a possible suicide in September as the two main points on the timeline. People personally close to him are going to have to fill in those gaps because I feel like half the users here (including me) mostly knew him from his general horror media postings.
