That's a very broad list of offenses. Even suicide? Huh.
George Floyd's death was mocked relentlessly when his "crime" was using a counterfeit $20 to buy cigarettes. It was never even determined if he knew it was counterfeit.
His death was mourned to the point of international rioting and widespread social and cultural changes.
He was a career criminal, and his crime was resisting arrest and repeatedly refusing to obey police instructions.
His prior conviction for armed robbery in 2007 is consistently brought up as a whole 'gotcha' to justify mocking what was an unjust killing of a man who had served his time, learned from his mistakes, and became a force of genuine good in his community.
George Floyd robbed a pregnant white woman at gunpoint. He remained a junkie and career criminal. He was an absent father. He was useless.
He died of a fentanyl overdose. That’s the natural end for a junkie. The police’s mistake was not believing him when he said he couldn’t breathe. Restraining him was not unjust, as he was 6’5” and resisting arrest. Restraining by his neck was bad training, and not the fault of the officers dutifully following that training.
Charlie Kirk was a white supremacist grifter
No, he was not. This gross exaggeration and distortion of his beliefs is exactly how his murder was justified - and motivated.
whose entire rhetoric was emblematic of what I believe to be the sickness at the core of America, I have no sympathy save for the children who will grow up without a father. The traits I just described are largely considered a positive here however, so this reply is likely an exercise in futility. But I digress.
Charlie Kirk has never molested, beaten, raped, or robbed anyone; was gainfully employed with a very successful career; was married and an involved father; and was an influential campaigner for the causes he believed in.
Yet you have no problem with him being slaughtered for saying words you don’t like (and you’re not even familiar with those words), while Fentanyl Floyd, armed robber of a pregnant woman, was a “force for genuine good” and should be parasocially grieved.
The culture war/identity politics are a smoke screen, and I consider there being one less grifter to distract/indoctrinate people to be a net positive. Though I personally would have rather seen him decline in popularity and become irrelevant.
You are absolutely sick.
