Charlie Kirk: Aftermath, Gravedancing, and Manhunt

Thats because the last time Kimmel was funny he was regularly doing blackface.
He was never funny. I couldn't pay attention to Win Ben Stiens money, he weighed down The Man Show (Adam Carolla + anyone else would have been a better show) and I've never been able to sit through a clip of The Kimmel show.

The guy lacks personality on such a scale, I wonder what he knows about who. Because he didn't get where he is by entertaining anyone. Same with Sarah Silverman, these unfunny people getting careers in comedy is like all these shitty games being made by people who aren't into gaming. Just so astroturfed and annoying.
How does the most boring man on earth become the host of multiple comedy shows?

Which is why, again, I say that it's super funny that no funny people support him. That sad list of names made me laugh more than Kimmel ever has.

We've been conditioned like Pavlov's dogs not to say what we really feel or we risk being ostracized.
The flip side of that, though, is right-leaning MIllennials see the left as a vicious, deadly enemy. Right-leaning boomers saw the left as a bunch of immature dopes whose heads were stuck in the clouds.

At risk of autism reacts(took my Tylenol this morning) and clock reacts, the way erika was during the memorial was a bit off to me. I get that she’s widowed and it’s a memorial for her deceased husband, but she didn’t seem the most torn up about it, which leads me to suspect their marriage probably wasn’t on the best terms and/or she was having an affair on the side. Just from irl experience, women her age, especially in conservative circles, are very prone to adultery
As much as I hate to stoop to a clip,

Being selective with the context and allowances of certain words and actions is nothing new on the Left. I agree with you that Kimmel was basically saying the shooter was right-wing and the doubling down he made after his suspension would indicate this, however he now has moral justification in his and the left's eyes to double down on his comment, all without outright saying what he's implying.

When Twitter banned right-wingers pre-Musk, it was "muh private company," but when ABC suspends Kimmel because Nexstar & Sinclair won't air him anymore, it's suddenly a "grave violation of free speech". When the rules do or do not apply is such a commonality of their mindset that you could probably predict the trajectory hereon out.

>Kimmel airs to massive losses because ABC isn't being paid to air the show on any tv network (they may livestream the show on Youtube or something and count those waters are viewers too make it out to be a success). "You're trying so hard to prove this guy isn't one of you." Again, he's not saying the words, "The shooter was right-wing." But he's heavily infers it.

>Airing of show is declared as "a win for free speech". For PR/"True believer" reasons ABC will either keep airing the zombie show (which will see quality further crater because nobody wants to guest for free/low pay on a show nobody is watching) or Disney will put his show on Disney+ for a pity run to bring in some subscribers and just take the loss.

>Kimmel won't see his contract renew and people will quietly forget he was ever made a "martyr" for free speech; if Colbert (most watched late night hose) isn't bringing in enough viewers to keep his show going forever (finishes in 2026), Kimmel sure as shit isn't worth whatever his price is.

TLDR: Yes, he knew what he was saying, but the Left don't give one iota of a shit about lying so long as their lies are "moral".
It's pretty clear to me that Kimmel is going to double-down in some fashion since the broadcasters are still preempting, but what do you think of the argument that Robinson is MAGA because that's what the rest of his family is? Might Kimmel go with that instead? Or perhaps use both arguments? Saying "I didn't actually say that the murderer was MAGA, but regardless, look at how he was raised by MAGA! Even his grandmother says the whole family is MAGA!"

Your team went full national terror campaign when some nigger OD'd on fentanyl, I shudder to think what would have happen if Jon Stewart or somebody had gotten legitimately assassinated by one of ours.
America's increasingly not so cold civil war would have finally kicked off because all the boomers, and live and let lives would have had to decide between being murdered by communists or doing something for once. Who would win, with constant law and order retard cons shooting their own side in the back, in that civil war, I don't know.

I don't think he'll do the whole "guilt by association" rigamarole. That one pretty much was the first to go since it preceded the Groyper shit. I think he'll just insist he did nothing wrong, elaborate on the point he'll claim he was actually making (MAGA looking for reasons to blame the Left-wing) and double down on it, whilst also arguing MAGA are the ones ultimately causing division by doing so. He'll probably play a few excerpts from Kirk's memorial service to highlight the argument, whilst also self-fellating about how his broadcast is a "victory for free speech". I think the "he's actually right-wing" thing will mostly persist in left-wing circles for now, the Kimmel thing sort've overshadowed the fact the right-wing was so hellbent on proving Robinson's left-wing beliefs because the left was tyring to argue he wasn't.

@Desu Mountain I'd never heard of him prior to your comment but looking it up yeah he has the highest nightly ratings. Colbert is now second place.

According to Bluesky sports are left-wing now because Conservatives didn't watch Niggerball during Charlie Kirk's funeral.

its just another example of vast distant echo chambers these fuckers are in, they are so removed from actual right wingers they have no idea how they function or act or what they even do, just the Simulacrum of them, that they hate.

It also brings up the question of if someone the leftists really loved died and had a memorial, would they skip their gay communism session to go to it? If they do, gay communism is now right-coded.

Even their arguments are senseless fucking babble.

Its the lefty classic "when you say things, and it makes one of our own Kill you, its you that is sowing division, and you really need to lower the tempature"

Kimmel is going to be safe from the FCC under a comedy/satire defense. However, this is a real can of worms. The basic comedy news format is you relay a news item and then say something funny about it. Kimmel relayed a FAKE NEWS item and said something funny about it. So should we grant this as a loophole for misinformation? Can every Russian bot just say, “Biden stole the election lol” instead of “Biden stole the election” and be in the clear? Kimmel is pulling some real BS here. The FCC should investigate and make their lives difficult but at the end of the day they should not punish it. Viewers, affiliates, and opponents of misinformation should.

This is why I built my little Chrome extension to tag people.

Brave extension when? And when you letting me use it? I gotta keep track of my favorite retards opinions so I can laugh at them man!!

On topic:

Kimmel will finish his contract and never get renewed. ABC is trying to thread the needle between both Hollywood pressure and the pissed off regular citizens. If these people really cared they'd be making a petition to change the FCC regulations, but they won't. And frankly, I agree it should be an infraction to intentionally incite and lie about crimes or terrorist incidents. Not something to be imprisoned over, but definitely something to be removed from public broadcasts over.

Kimmel is over and he's gasping his last wheeze of a program behind a paywall lol. In the words of James Woods, "Eat shit, Jimbo".

When did that get released?
He might mean that it was a honeypot in the sense that it encouraged people to submit important information only to them, and then they blackholed all of it. I was always kind of suspicious of them because, despite ostensibly caring about getting this information out there, there was never any way to download the whole dataset. (For future reference, if anyone ever wants to set up some sort of similar website, use Fossil as the backend. Yes, the wiki has a pretty poor feature set and doesn't even let you rename pages, but it makes mirroring all the data very convenient and parsimonious with resources, since once you've mirrored the data, future syncs only download the changes.)

I'm pretty sure this applies to like a War of the Worlds type broadcast, not what Kimmel did. It's so people can't announce a fake terror attack that causes public panic to go out and kill the neighbor from Iraq or some shit. The intentional distortion applies to news, IIRC, not entertainment.
You're contradicting yourself. If it doesn't apply to entertainment, War of the Worlds wouldn't be implicated. It was a radio play and stated fairly regularly that it was just a fiction.

Millenials aren't becoming based crusaders.
Heh.
The 60's liberal flower child who became a banker/stockbroker by the 80's was a cliche when Gen X were children. The exact same thing has happened in every generation going back as far as records have been kept.
Whilst "nuance" has become a poisoned term nowadays, the generations have more or less been split politically in half since forever. What does feel different nowadays and might be more seen in millennials over Gen-X and the Boomers is the absolute refusal to budge from political positions. They become almost sacrosanct, probably because politics = morals in lieu of religion = morals. Because politics was far less tethered to morality, that might've factored into why people might've more easily changed party. It wasn't as integral to being at one point.

Nowadays you wouldn't get something like Reagan vs Mondale, or FDR vs Landon, not today with the way politics has changed. Maybe Bush vs Kerry? But no complete 180s. Trump vs Harris should've been a washout on the scale of something like those (last minute candidate change, cost of living, etcetera) yet it didn't manifest. The people voting dem and the people voting republican see voting for their associated party as a moral duty, akin to lent.

I think another big part of it is people have put their politics online. Opinions become less personal and more public, which injects a heap of ego into it. Everybody is made aware that you're no longer the same politically as you were 4 years ago, and the views you so adamantly and passionately defended at one point have now changed. You'll invite mockery and derision, and as we've seen before, people might even take action against you for doing so (doxing, harassment, etcetera).

That's been a big thing that's become criticised as well: changing opinions. You have to be the same as you always was or else you're accused of being a liar, a hypocrite, unprincipled, etcetera. This leads to people - especially younger ones more inclined to post their views online at no-one's behest - being cemented in their politics because it's become intertwined with how they've presented themselves as a person that they can't change it.
