Charlie Kirk: Aftermath, Gravedancing, and Manhunt

WBC gives zero hoots whether society “shuns” or accepts us. We have picketed every single day, by God’s mercy and strength, since the day we started—35 years ago. Telling you every day America is doomed for proud sin. Meanwhile if you paid attention as you went in to worship the dead at the Charlie Kirk Memorial today, you saw us there with these God-blessed Bible signs.
You niggers can't read the room.

there were a shocking number of highly upvoted comments gravedancing and justifying what happened to Kirk,
I wonder why. Almost like this whole thing is manufactured to whitewash a deranged psychopath and religious extremist into some sort of saint, when he was in fact a human abomination, a monster. This whole spectacle is just an outburst of the most primitive and atavistic superstitions, a kind of regression down the evolutionary chain back into primitive apedom. Shrieking, yowling, deranged lunatics dancing around fires are better than this rejection of civilization.

My opinion on all of this, primarily religion, went from fully neutral into a deep conviction that Mao and Stalin were right and that it has been a catastrophe for civilization that religion was allowed to continue existing past the 18th century. I'm not even a leftist, it's just so plainly obvious this baboon nonsense is like a giant noose around humanities neck. You Americans just devolved back into Haiti tier bullshit. It's disgraceful and dangerous, and the world must do everything to first contain the disease and then cauterize it forever. There needs to be a massive and merciless wave of secularization and atheisation if Humanity is to survive.

Christians didn't give up when we were persecuted by Rome, I don't know what relevancy has to do with saving your soul from eternal damnation.

The correct answer to Mao, Stalin and every other Red as well as their sympathizer is Suharto. And he was as right about atheists as he was about commies in general, you Godless nigger.

Davion the punk's GoFundMe is up to $21K now. That's enough for some Carnival cruises, still not enough for a down payment on an Escalade or a house.

This comedy writes itself. Imagine the absolute lack of self-awareness to write this and condemn pride at the same time lol.

My 22 year old daily show with John Stewart watching self would never believe that I would be watching some Republican event for a political assassination with Trump as president. How the fuck did we go from W declaring the GWoT and Democrats being the anti-war party to wherever the fuck we are now with the sides almost completely flipped?
I'd bet money if you went back to your 22 year old self and said that, but also gave the context as to why, your younger self would believe it. I am making assumptions obviously but I would bet your core beliefs have not changed much from back then. It's easy to dunk on Stewart and his ilk nowadays but the truth is a lot of what they said back then was legit just common sense shit. He lost his way at some point though, not you.

And that is emblematic of the left itself. Same shit on a larger scale. As for how we reached this point I think it mostly just comes down to people naturally being irresponsible with power. The right sucked ass in the 90s and especially the 2000s, anyone pretending otherwise is coping or wasn't born yet. It was extremely easy for the left to grab power. But they made all the exact same mistakes and let the radical voices take over their side and so now the inmates are running the asylum so to speak (literally in this case seeing as we're dealing people who unironically think cutting off your cock makes you a biological woman.)

I think people, in general, largely want to be left the fuck alone in their daily life and will just side with whoever is going to try and make that a reality.

Why would Jesus expect the end of the world in a century when he already knows the future?

The Apostles immediately started churches and had the first council. They started an administration so early that it could be documented in Acts, so even Protestants have to accept that it existed and is a fundamental part of Christianity. How is that not a political entity in the context of antiquity? Keep in mind every civilization in that period, known and unknown to the Roman world, had a tight coupling of religion and the ruling class. Starting a religious movement was ipso facto political. It doesn’t matter if they believed that movement would be irrelevant within the century. The organization already exists, full stop.
Because they expected the literal end of the world and direct rule by God within their lifetimes. That’s why.

Not to power-level but work and family’s been rough lately. Something weird within me made me download the Bible and I spent about an hour reading the New Testament.
I’m still not a Christian or a Kirk fan and I don’t fully comprehend everything I read but I can’t deny feeling a little warmth in my heart.
Is there a version of the Bible that's approachable to a layman? I could never get into it due to how hard it is to interpret if you have no background.
Last Thanksgiving/Christmas, @Preacher ✝ recommended "The Bible in a Year" by Father Mike Schmitz. Each day has a narrative reading ("story" part of the Bible), then wisdom/guidance from Psalms/Proverbs/etc, then a prayer and mini-lesson on the main reading.

Lessons are about 25min, but I put them on 1.5x if I'm pressed for time. It's Catholic but I've really enjoyed them as a Protestant and am around day 350. Should be available on podcast/Bible apps, but I just keep the youtube playlist in a tab on my phone (Brave browser has a setting to let media play with the screen off).

Trump: [Charlie] did not hate his opponents. He wanted the best for them. That's where I disagreed with Charlie. I hate my opponent and I don't want the best for them.
This leaves out the end: "I'm sorry Erika...but now Erika can talk to me and maybe convince me that's not right. Charlie's angry looking down at me now..." It struck me as very self-aware.

Where's the list of (based) speakers who're worth listening to while going through the memorial?
- Tulsi/Hegseth/Rubio were decent, RFK was good
- Stephen Miller was white hot, and Tucker & JD were pretty passionate
- Erika & Trump were a really great ending: her forgiveness + his duty to seek justice
