Oh. Well, good for him.'Seeing the light'. Maybe convert entirely.
I was hoping "it" was something like banning Tiny and/or Hassan off X. It would be funny.

Go hug your wives, gentlemen.
You know this is pretty tame compared to how they were back in the 90's. It's like they kind lost passion for it and are nicer compared to the people dancing on his grave. The public was invited to Charlie Kirk’s memorial service in Glendale, Arizona, so Westboro Baptist Church joins the fray with plain Gospel Words, which are LIFE and HEALTH for ours and our neighbors’ souls!

If you credit Luke 16 (and we do), this is what Charlie Kirk wants right now: for someone to warn his family and friends to serve God in TRUTH as He’s revealed in Scripture, so they don’t follow him (Charlie) to Hell.
Repent or perish!
There are a lot of odd logical twists at play here.Considering that a good chunk of them are young people, yes. Like it or not, there is a not insignificant chunk of people who do not care one way or the other about Charlie Kirk or the fact he was murdered, and watching the right-wing's outrage over it is annoying to them. The left could get a decent amount of support from saying "The right will get you fired just because you made fun of some random guy you never heard of before today dying".
Yeah, 90s teen me who got my political views from MTV and then later from free-thinking bloggers, fringe forums, and Milton Friedman books would have never imagined there'd be a day I'm watching President Donald Trump calling internet celebrities losers at a memorial. It's strange. Surreal is the best word for it. The entire last decade feels like one of those dreams where you keep skipping around and can't remember how you got there. Can't say I was a huge fan of Trump's speech, way too much unrelated to Charlie. While some of it was funny, I don't think it was the time or place for a lot of what he talked about.
Also...this all feels so surreal. My 22 year old daily show with John Stewart watching self would never believe that I would be watching some Republican event for a political assassination with Trump as president. How the fuck did we go from W declaring the GWoT and Democrats being the anti-war party to wherever the fuck we are now with the sides almost completely flipped?
CA, NY and IL elections are rigged all to shit. Makes no difference what Gruesome Newsome says or does.

Unfortunately, yes. That was one of Kirk's biggest reasons for running Turning Point, to keep young people from falling into that mindset. Whether it means a rise in Democrat wins remains to be seen, but completely dismissing them is dumb. Apathy can be worse than hatred (and I know I'm saying that after Kirk's memorial got something like a collective 2 million views). Are nihilistic shitposters a hot demographic?
Newsom is nothing more than a useful idiot for the Democratic party and as soon as he stops being useful they will dump him and throw all his skeletons on top of his body.CA, NY and IL elections are rigged all to shit. Makes no difference what Guesome Newsome says or does.
I can agree that appealing to young people is important, not just for the sake of political calculus, but because young people in this country really need some meaning and direction.Unfortunately, yes. Loving the sinner doesn't mean you invite a kiddy diddler and murderer to sing kumbaya around a campfire. Love means righteous correction and seeing that they do right by those they've hurt. It's a very modern idea that love and forgiveness means endless affirmation, ego stroking, and suicidal empathy. There's a reason why those on death row pray for leniency and for mercy and not for forgiveness. The purpose is that you lead your life with grace of the gospel and seek him .Your actions will repel evil as natural as you seek christ. You hate evil, not the people caught in it. I should rephrase myself.
AS the adage goes, hate the sin, not the sinner.
Christians didn't give up when we were persecuted by Rome, I don't know what relevancy has to do with saving your soul from eternal damnation.Man they haven't been relavent in a decade.
Neither Jesus’’ actual movement, or that of the early church was remotely concerned with temporal politics dude. They both expected the end of the world/parousia within a century. More than that-they were always in the social fringe. This is the sort of revisionist perspective that comes from looking at Roman Judea through a modern lens. The Sanhedrin was the ruling court as part of a three branch ‘separate but equal’ type government the Romans established for the Jews: a Roman governor (Pilate), a culturally Greek King (Herod), and a Jewish high priest (Caiaphas). Jesus came to destroy the Jewish religion (tear down the Temple) and replace it with Christianity (rebuild it in three days). Jesus literally disrupted the political system of Roman Judea, and by proxy eventually the Roman Empire and most of the world.
Gapers are not relevant. Please relegate discussion of their antics to Fuentes's thread.
These particular christfaggots are still around? I thought they disbanded after Fred Phelps died. The public was invited to Charlie Kirk’s memorial service in Glendale, Arizona, so Westboro Baptist Church joins the fray with plain Gospel Words, which are LIFE and HEALTH for ours and our neighbors’ souls!

Why would Jesus expect the end of the world in a century when he already knows the future?Neither Jesus’’ actual movement, or that of the early church was remotely concerned with temporal politics dude. You see this in both Jesus’ himself-destroy the temple and rebuild it means a supernatural temple, whereas with the early church-the expectation of Christ return as imminent meant no consideration was given to “what would society look like if Christian’s were in charge and the majority?”-the question never comes up because it was never expected.
By the time it does become a majority religion and has to act like a majority religion-give to Caesar’s what is Caesar’s becomes far more troublesome, not to mention questions of expanding the religion by force, etc…-because it was never intended to rule.
Found it:
During Charlie Kirk's memorial, Trump addressed "influencers" who cheered on and endorsed the murder. Trump said "you know the names", and "they're major losers, by the way - this will be proven out in a short period of time." Hasan was live reacting:
