Can't say I was a huge fan of Trump's speech, way too much unrelated to Charlie. While some of it was funny, I don't think it was the time or place for a lot of what he talked about.

Not unexpected from Trump tbh. Charlie Kirk was involved with Trump on a lot of things politically though. If I was Charlie, I would want my death to fuck over my opponents one more time from the grave by assisting others on forwarding the cause.

Besides the fact this is the clearest evidence that what Kiwifarms does is actually approved by St Paul ("Reprove" = rebuke or reprimand i.e. criticise) it's something of a call to action. Everything these people do needs to be called out. How exactly it manifests is another matter entirely but cataloguing and exposing these people is at bare minimum righteous. James 4:7 does say the devil will flee when you submit yourself to God, but if the devil is also symbolic of sin, then one could view that verse as a means of avoiding sin (through faith in God) which the killer clearly hadn't.

In terms of pure politics and optics, I can't think of any single event that has been more damaging to the left in my lifetime than Kirk's assassination up to this memorial. We have been witnessing one of the most politically significant events in modern American history.

Anyone who is out there minimizing this event like it doesn't matter or who is cracking jokes and celebrating it is out to lunch COMPLETELY. That was probably the biggest and most significant memorial service for a US citizen in American history.

The lines are drawn and the political right is completely galvanized. The Democrats and left in general are politically and optically FUCKED for years.
