I am encouraging you to keep seeking Christ. The Lord worked on my heart for YEARS until I gave my life to Christ. Knowing the Bible is not the same as having a relationship with Almighty God, even if I as a Christian am called to follow God's word. The Bible flatout says that even the demons know Jesus is God, but they aren't saved.

Don't forget that your works, the good things you do in this life, do not bring you salvation. Trump himself has been talking about how he thinks he's not good enough for Heaven, and he's right, but keeps trying to talk about how he needs to do more good. Know that faith in the Lord and letting him lead your life brings salvation, and good works that come from that are the "fruit" that shows Christ through your life.

God bless you fren, I'll be praying for you and others who have started seeking Christ, even if your faith is the size of a mustard seed.

This is about the groveling, cucked response I expected to come from this... Too many "Christians" are more worried about coddling and enabling evil than they are with protecting and preserving the righteous and innocent.
 
Is there a version of the Bible that's approachable to a layman? I could never get into it due to how hard it is to interpret if you have no background. Things like Meditations and other books by stoics were very approachable for me, is there something similar for the Bible?

No, she's forgiving him for his sake as well. The whole point of Christianity is that salvation is for everyone. Even cold-blooded killers. And that you want your enemies to find salvation too.

I'm not saying you should agree or disagree with the message of Christianity, but this is what it is all about. It's not merely a self-help program.

You sound not in control of yourself. Such people fail to change anything in the way they want. Christianity survived the far greater persecutions and tribulations of Rome and emerged from them stronger, it will do the same now
 
This is not the call to action speech I expected, fool me once. I'm glad the family gets a lighthearted eulogy from POTUS. Tag me when something actually happens. Like has been said in every speech, it's been almost two weeks.
