I think if this was about KF, Cecily would have said so. She’s never shied away from playing victim when people give her the attention she actively sought. What’s more, her post directly attributes the request to a fictional lynching and nonexistent trans genocide in America.

I don't think Tori would have told her that's what it's about, because she knows Cecily would double down and talk about KF more, which is probably the last thing you'd want if you didn't want to be tracked.

Kids that age often don't tell parents the real motivation for almost anything they want, sort of reflexively.
 
I’d almost forgotten about this horrible woman, and yet she’s still going, dry-begging and bitching. Does she ever think about the future, or what will happen if she becomes injured?

She seems to be living in a decent home by the looks of her TikTok, so I wonder if some of the poverty drama is a bit performative?

I hope to see her posting homeless from a tarp in the next decade, berating capitalism for her plight, while her daughter has awakened to her mother and fathers narcissism, gotten a decent job and has cut all ties.
 
I wish I shared your hope for Tori, Barbarella! She's still young, but I don't know. Kid's going to have a hard row to hoe, no thanks to her shitty parents and shitty school. It's just sad.
 
Tori’s a sad case. Like Kailyn Wilcher’s Gracie and Shauna Ahern’s Lucy, she never stood a chance. She was screwed from ever having one by the people that created her. Despite Cecily’s claims that she’s so intelligent and well functioning despite her temper, Tori was raised in a setting not much better than the Genies of the world (because even kids of drug addicts usually go to actual school and get actual educations). What Cecily has shown (under the guise of being a relatable, caring mom) proves it. While I would like to hope that Tori will “get better,” I’m not holding my breath.

I would be shocked if Cecily didn’t send her down to the welfare office to sign on for welfare the day Tori turned 18. But until we know that for sure, I’m personally not comfortable regarding it as fact.
 
I’d love to be proven wrong. Someone has to claw this benighted family out of total indigence, surely.

The other possibility besides Cecily having her child sign on ASAP is that they make TORI get a job and work to help THEIR lazy asses, under the pretense that she somehow “owes” her parents. They’re the kind of people I could totally see making their kid pay them rent despite never making any attempt at helping her become self-sufficient or productive.
 
The only way Tori will ever claw out of indigence is to leave Cecily and Charley way behind her. Parents like them will consume everything and leave her with the bills. I wouldn't be at all surprised if her credit has already been ruined.

My dad's family was like this. Welfare leeches faking disability. So he got a job, learned enough trade skills to start his own business. He tried to give his siblings and dad jobs but they were lazy assholes who thought that they got to collect a paycheck without doing anything. He bought one sister a car, and the next year she complained he wouldn't buy her the new model. His folks made him put almost all his earnings into family funds, except anything he needed for equipment and repairs.

The way families like this work is that when they do find a cash cow, they milk it to absolute death. It's misery for the person being exploited. The only way to live a real life is to make a clean break (my dad, fortunately, did this before his family could sink him down into the muck).

So many classic lolcows have kids now; I hope to live long enough to see them successful and, selfishly, to see them dish dirt on their awful parents.

Maybe not here, but some familiar-sounding "is it OK to stop paying my mom's Amazon" reddit thread.
