Edit: maybe it’s taking so long because they’re arguing about how to handle the hug story. No taking sides in Israel vs Palestine, you just say it's a "complicated issue and very heartbreaking." You can still compliment Hasan and even say he probably understands these issues better, point out how it was a mistake for Ethan to get involved in politics because he doesn't seem to be very knowledge about it and all it does is fuel further division among his fans. Position yourself as a peaceful arbiter, maybe make a joke about how Content Cop is responding to a domestic violence call, and Hasan and Ethan are a divorcing couple who are fighting and he has to break it up.
