There's yuge amounts of cope about this, which is why US military officers are typically covered in a ridiculous amount of medals even when they've never won a war. They like to pretend being a general or admiral is equivalent to being a CEO, but they're just uniformed government employees and most are about as impressive as their colleagues in the DMV.

Paul Pelosi is a false equivalency. Beyond his wife, Paul has never entered politics in his life. He wasn't a public figure watched by millions on tiktok and get assassinated in such a brutal manner. Most people have no idea who Nancy Pelosi's husband is. Then theres the issue of the attack itself, Paul's was a gay lovers spat and you cannot convince me otherwise.

I don't expect this to pick up any traction as most democrats would like to keep the Paul Pelosi gay lover attack memoryholed.
