I'm still confused about the Marky situation. Sam (allegedly) buttfucked a 15 / 16 year old when he was (allegedly) 29 and the common consensus I see from Sam enjoyers on this site largely seems to boil down to its okay because [insert reasons] meanwhile I've seen people get crucified for far less by Kiwifarms.

Am I missing some important information or is this just another case of "my e-daddy can do no wrong because I find him funny"?

There’s three main reasons why Sam never faced and consequences or backlash from Marky.

1. World Peace got canceled and Sam was already blacklisted when the allegations started gaining traction. Sam was completely out of the mainstream so of course there was never any mainstream coverage of it. Sam was back underground so no one outside of his hardcore fans knew about it.
2. For years, Markyposting was only really a thing on /pol/ and /tv/ when Sam when get brought up. For years, Markyposting was only ever known by hardcore Sam fans in the interim period between World Peace and the Idubbbz documentary. When people on Reddit or Twitter would talk about Sam they would usually just say the typical “he’s racist” “he’s a nazi”. It’s only in the past two years or so that Markyposting has gone mainstream. That’s why I believe Idubbbz never brought it up.
3. The third and probably main reason why is that Marky herself has moved on and never pressed charges.

Why would Marky ever bother doing more than talking about it in private? What does she stand to gain? Who can she possibly convince that actually matters to them? No one. It's a fool's errand. She could come out with conclusive proof and people would just shrug and say "15/16? That's an adult in Romania. He does good work for the cause and that's what matters".

My point is that their assertion that their ancestors had some sort of proto-hitlerian racial purity ancestor-worshipping religion is entirely made up. The majority of what we know about pre-christian European religion was documented almost entirely by Christians, who preserved the religion with bias and had a vested interest in easing the pagans into conversion by preserving pagan traditions within a Christian moral framework.

Oh indubitably. Although, not all of it was done with conversion in mind, I reckon that most actually was done purely out of academic interest. Certainly the monks in Iceland writing down the Norse sagas and the priests in Rome and Constantinople writing down the works of the Antiquity and the Ancient Greek and Roman myths/poetry were doing so with a bias, same as ancient historians did before them, but I think the goal was historical/cultural preservation, since, before the printing press written word was hardly useful for conversion purposes, as most people could not read.

Its much more likely that pre-christian European religion was closer to modern day hinduism than Twitter nazi shit or Christianity, and Hinduism isn't really known for building functioning societies. So all of these larpers on X pretending that they've "discovered" their ancestral religion and it just so happens that their ancestors religion aligned perfectly with the political and racial ideology they already held before becoming pagan (and no, of course they don't literally believe in their own gods, how could you expect someone to actually believe their religion is real) should be laughed out of the rightwing sphere for their fundamental misunderstanding of what it even means to have a religion.

I’d argue it was closer to Japanese Shintoism. Animalistic and more primitive philosophically and ritualistically. Nowhere near the complexity, nor as deep as Christianity or Islam. It is no wonder both overcame paganism without much difficulty.

I don't care how long we're been doing Christianity. We did some form of "paganism" far, far, far longer. It is no comparison. Its also largely irrelevant to whether or not something is true or even that good.

Yeah, but not the same kind of religion, right? Paganism is not the same religion across Europe. You had thousands of different gods, pantheons and idols across millennia, none sticking for too long. Then we had uninterrupted Christianity for two thousand years, when our people actually settled on this continent in their respective lands and we had Christianity as we formed our individual languages, customs and identities, shaping all those at the same time.

It's part and parcel? Never denied that. I'm saying thats incredibly unfortunate, it severely weakens us, directly leads to hostile peoples hijacking our societies, and that we can do so much better. We have our own traditions that are far superior and dont rely on dogshit theological grounds or made up Hebrew bloodlines.

Sit back and learn to accept it. Christianity is collapsing for everyone except Africans, and what you'd call "pagan" has seemingly sprung up out of nowhere. This will only accelerate.

Maybe traditional Christianity and religiosity in general are on the decline, although the trends recently among the younger generations kinda undermine that notion, but the cultural impact and effect still remain.
