nah you're right, they're different. A spike in followers tends to come with a spike in subscribers (which are temporary and have to be re-upped monthly, unlike following)

Maybe he's only counting the amount of subs, and not the actual number of people subbed. Say someone donates, and Han gets 5, Anisa gets 5. He would only have gained 2 if Han and Anisa weren't subbed, but he might be counting all 10.
