Fuck no. This is the thing about the internet: the penalties are so extraordinarily harsh for being a hacker because once they put you in a cell for a few months they offer you a job with the government. So basically all of the best people are working for the FBI and other three letter agencies to ensure that they can find anything so long as it was posted to the internet at some point. irc was mostly a gamer/tech/nerd type of thing, never very big with normies because it was pure text chat and kind of a pain to use.
the pre discord voice tools were almost exclusively used for voice chat, not text, so there's no logs or anything like that. also mainly used in gamer circles.
and these tools were all self-hosted. you want a server, you have to rent a webserver and set it up yourself, or pay a company a few dollars a month to do it for you. clients wouldn't log anything by default, and if servers were configured to keep logs, the log files would just sit on the webserver and be accessible only to the admin there, not like discord where logs are public and anybody who joins a server can instantly read out the entire history of everything that was ever posted throughout the servers entire lifetime.

For those that haven't followed, a website, charliesmurderers.com, was created by an anonymous person that was suppose to collect info on people celebrating the assassination. Recently, they rebranded themselves as the "Charlie Kirk Data Foundation"

Probably an unpopular opinion but I think Kash Patel's bungling incompetence is calculated. I think a lot of the time he acts like the stupidest guy in the room because he's smart enough not to flaunt a winning hand until the river card. They knew about the trannies. No links or archives. To email a submission, they explicitly wanted only screenshots. They never had the actual posts in the first place. So there is no way to verify if the submissions are legitimate or if they are just people faking screenshots to troll them or get others in trouble over fake posts (unless their team of Fortune 500 engineers are working on it)
