That, or someone "talked to them" and made it clear that they could get the Charlie Kirk treatment too if it was released. The Left cannot have mass firings or they risk losing the fragile amount of control they still have.

Something doesn't sit right with me on this. I'd love to be wrong, but be wary.

Regardless of whatever is going on, as pointed out in the quoted post, the organizations mission statement has completely changed.

I honestly think it's a rebranding so that they don't get hit by a lawsuit. I.e. that the name Charlieskillers may imply that the accused were involved in his death rather than just being awful people and a liability to the company/to the US.

We'll see if it was a honeypot or not.

What are the odds the retracted Guardian report about the shooter's leftward swing was people twigging onto who it was and making threats? It would perfectly explain the guy suddenly going 'oh yeah, that was years ago and I don't remember anything about politics, honest.'

Their shortsightedness is staggering. They're replying to the bluesky CEO and immediately posting the article of a rag tabloid to get it removed, therefore bringing it to everyone else's attention.

A normal person would simply ignore it. It probably doesn't help that the article is factual, sucks to suck!

Decorum is dead. Kirk's family was either there when he was murdered, watched the video soon after, or saw all the gloating by leftists. Too many others have already seen the video for it to be covered up. Burying the video now in the name of his family and decorum is an insult to his memory. The leftists gloating already have their own copies. They've already made memes, t-shirts, and merch from it for God's sake. People need to watch the video. People need to see pictures of Kirk with his wife and children. The message needs to be repeated as often as possible. Leftists hate you for expressing a differing view, and if you make them look the fool (as Kirk often did), they will murder you in front of your children for it.

Quite possible.
My initial assumption for the retraction was either: 1) biased corporate higher-ups came down on the editor, 2) enough angry feedback after US media started running the "his grandma who never talked politics with him says she thinks he's MAGA" caused them to consider it "debunked"

Honestly I'd take the highschool friend's word over it than the grandmas. People will have school friends and teammates on their unfiltered social media platforms, while usually anything their grandparents/extended family is on is more "filtered".

Honestly, outside the shooter, this reminds me of this quote said from DecoyVoice,

"No matter how progressive you think you are, you'll never be pure enough for them."

That's how it is for them. Being "morally good" changes rapidly and always has some new form that practically guilts said leftist into harboring it.

"You must give it your all. Your 100%. If you don't, you're no longer worthy of being part of our cause. You're just like the people we hate. Oh? You caused something that will give our ideology a bad time? You're no longer worthy of being part of our cause. You were a right winger this whole time. I knew it. I always knew it."

You'll never be pure enough for a leftist, always chasing new ways to smug their way in front of everyone's faces. You cannot change a leftist's mindset. There feels no point of debate yet Charlie still debated them regardless, no matter how casual or stereotypical or antifa-pilled they were.

He gave them a chance, to do what the leftists complain about being le heckin' experts at; debating and being an actual free thinker. A free thinker who upholds his position of being one because he does what no leftist can ever do - and that's hearing the other side, no matter how much you disagree with them. The most basic thing for any debater to do.

And he was killed for it.

If you read... one of the retractions it said they talked with the guy again and suddenly he didn't remember anything and the information was old. I do admit it's still possible they got duped into some Internet trickster, but it sounds exactly like someone gave the dude a Girl Talk.
