Ok, this changed my mind. He actually was wearing metallic armor, which I would say is extremely inadvisable for exactly this reason, and the shot was center mass near the top of the chest. If he had been wearing ceramic or composite armor, he would still be alive.

The men, Adeeb Nasir, 58, and Adil Justice Ahmed Nasir, 31, were booked into jail and face multiple charges, including Threat of Terrorism, Possessing Weapons of Mass Destruction, and Possessing Explosive Devices.

They 100% do I'd bet my house on it. I've worked in enterprise data architecture for over a decade. Discord will cooperate as its a corporate entity and their lawyers will unanimously agree it is in their best interest to do so.
