Charlie Kirk: Aftermath, Gravedancing, and Manhunt

Anger is justified and understandable. It isn’t even about branching the divide, it’s just about ensuring you don’t demolish the freedoms you value in the pursuit of protecting them. Any system like ours is inherently the most fragile system available and reckless, reactionary responses are the most likely thing to break it apart at the foundations.
That's exactly why swift, decisive and legitimate action is necessary. If legitimate state power is not exercised immediately in order to break up the radical left and root it out of the institutions that allow it to operate with impunity, that fragile system is already lost.

The alternative is the tacit admission that there exists a widespread element within the American populace and institutions that is willing to go to any length, including killing peaceful men in front of their families and then demanding their wives and kids go next, in order to further their political program. And that the US government is either uncapable or unwilling to do anything about it to protect innocent, law-abiding citizens.

You've already lost the fragile system of democracy and free speech at that point. The only things left in the face of that scenario are to lay down and die or begin to take the law into your own hands, both of which WILL lead to the results you fear, and the only chance to prevent it is for the government to do its job and enforce the fucking law to protect its own citizens.

... but now, after looking at the photo on the left, I want him to be locked up somewhere for a long time, giving him therapy and working with his inside-out brains, and releasing later under a different name.

Even if you love it, sometimes you have to put the biting dog down.

Some news.

I want to hear a little of what this fag has to say before they kill him. If he has some half assed explanation or the faint prospect that it has any teeth.

The problem, I suspect, is just that there are so few detransitioners, and even fewer probably want to get involved in politics, so you basically have just Chloe Cole.
There are dozens of them who are fairly outspoken on X, especially in terfy spaces. Detrans accounts are usually designated by having a lizard emoji in their name, it's some kind of symbol for their recovery.

But because these kids usually transition as a cope to deal with sexual trauma, they are understandably very fragile mentally. The few who have gone on larger platforms to speak out against it, such as Prisha Mosely, get doxxed and incessantly harassed by troons who are still in the crab bucket cult.

For the most part, it seems the best thing for them is to lay low, heal in private, and go on to have as normal of a life as they possibly can.

I never said they were, but it’s hard to seriously claim to be a free speech advocate if people saying disgusting shit is enough to completely turn heel and support the kind of witch hunts that the far left supports against the right. There are degrees of hypocrisy you hit whether you burn down a city or not.
I’m not sure this is hypocritical. I say this as someone opposed to the general idea of “freedom of speech isn’t freedom from consequences” as a justification for censorship.

Actions occur in context. An action in one context may be condemnable, but in another, justifiable or even laudable. The most notorious example of this is the difference between murder and self defense. Both are homocide. But one we consider amongst the most heinous of crimes. The other we consider a justified action. In some cases, we may even consider it heroic.
The difference between these cases lies in the context and circumstances. And we could extend this even further: consider the difference between murder and killing in war. One is a crime, prosecuted by the state. The other is something encouraged by the state. But both are still the killing of another human being.

Now, how does this relate in this context? There is a marked difference in circumstances between trying to get someone fired because they said something racist, or said “fuck Donald Trump, hope someone kills that Nazi,” and encouraging or celebrating the recent assassination of a person because of their political beliefs, likely attributable in part to similar online rhetoric. I’m not going to argue that this context is sufficiently distinct to make one condemnable but the other justified. That gets down to first principles issues and too many other considerations, to the point it may derail the thread.
But I will simply submit that two identical actions may not be morally, ethically, and philosophically equivalent based upon context. And thus, to simply condemn a person as a hypocrite simply because they condemn an action in a different context is reductionist and incorrect.

Haven't seen this posted, Gov. Cox came on with updates on investigation into Tyler's reddit and discord history:

Utah Gov. Spencer Cox shares new details about Charlie Kirk shooting suspect: Full interview [...mp4

Gov. also confirms "boyfriend transitioning from male to female" and that Lance "knew nothing about the plot" and was "shocked and horrified".

I don't know about that last one, cheif.

ex leftist here: it’s because engaging with “the enemy’s” media is seen as tantamount to betrayal and a deep moral failing. anyone who naively tries to engage with both sides or read multiple perspectives or talk about stories that are supposed to be ignored is quickly outcast in a lot of these circles. it’s an indirect admission of the flaws in the ideology because if your beliefs were actually solid you wouldn’t be afraid that engaging in any outside perspectives would “corrupt and brainwash you into believing the opposite”.
everything I have ever been told by leftist 'friends' has always been that I'm an exception and that if any of their other friends knew how right wing i was they'd never hear the end of it. they all wholeheartedly believe that watching any right-wing content is akin to letting literally Hitler-Satan into your heart, and control your every action. they have NO confidence in their own rhetoric or people, and zero faith that their beliefs would hold up against even MINOR scrutiny.

For a political demographic that often complains about Christian nationalists it sure seems like they treat their political beliefs and tenets like a religion.

It's been said before, modern leftism is a secular religion.
There are articles of faith, there are heretics and apostates, there is original sin.

Analyze leftist doctrine and action as you would any religious sect, rather than through a political lens, and it makes a lot more sense.

reckless, reactionary responses are the most likely thing to break it apart at the foundations.
One side has been consistently behaving in that manner for decades and they have been SLAUGHTERING my people. Think of their ethnic pets that they coddle and allow to attack us. Think of the black-on-white violent crime which has been at epidemic levels for at least 40 years. Think of the many ways one side consistently seeks to hide the reality of that crime. How they proffer up excuse after excuse to minimize black violence. How they won’t publicly name black suspects for fear of alerting my people to the fact that our fathers and mothers and sisters and brothers and daughters and sons are being killed, raped and maimed in horrific levels of violence.

That's actually true. Most leftists, and a lot of their shitlib allies, not only do not interact with their enemies and the wrongthink media they are straight up PROUD of being ignorant of the opposition. Like, they never go into the youtube channel of their enemies to find clips to clown on they are always relying on someone else having already farmed and clipped the approved content.

Kinda like how gun control people don't know shit about guns and find it somehow a source of pride to not know the difference between a assault rifle and assault weapon, or thinking that AR-15 stands for Assault Rifle 15.

They are proud of being naive and ignorant, and they act like they are better than the "other side" because of it. You see how they try to talk down to you, scream you down, talk over you, and just make it abundantly clear you aren't one of them if they're not overtly hostile. There is a dark irony in "corrupt and brainwash", I recall hearing from a video years ago with some of them talking about, something about someone in college who comes from a religious conservative home and turning that person "from a sheep into a human being".

The irony is that it's the opposite - college turns you into a sheep. Imagine looking at deranged dangerhairs and thinking that is "life", it's repulsive. I have a perfect personal story to illustrate willful ignorance and blind partisan tribalism I'll never forget as long as I live - some years ago, I had a relative scream out, "Fully automatic, semi automatic, WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?!!?!" all while claiming to be Independent; you're clearly not when you behave like this and despise everything the other side does. It's also something incredible to see when they act like they know what certain political words mean when they clearly don't from any objective metric - I guarantee it's not going to be pretty if one of them starts shrieking about Fascism and you ask in response, "Which kind, Japanese, Spanish, Chilean, Italian, or German?", or maybe when they go on a rant about racism trying to define "Isolationist".

It shocked me to learn, so long ago, that most people are incapable of this. I fear that since humanity learned to farm we have been in the midst of speciation between those capable of planning, contemplation, understanding, and just generally learning about the world in order to act upon it in beneficial ways, and fucking niggercattle who need to be told what to do.
Likely has gotten worse in modern times due to the lack of needing to struggle to feed oneself.

They’re building more walls on a rotted foundation. The system they’ve made with these lobbyists and billionaires isn’t beneficial to the American people. It’s a prison. Where only the worst people are rewarded.

If the Elected Officials in National, State and local Government cared, they would have already been doing that. BLM, Antifa, Muslim Brotherhood , LGBTQ, ACLU, our Judicial system and Government as a whole. The Media, Socialists of America. Legal and illegal immigration, deadly drug epidemic, deadly pubic schools filled with pedophiles in charge of our children. These have been issues for decades that have had violent and deadly impact, specifically to the Right for at least a decade.

The Government just wants to build thicker bars on our rotting prison cells.
ill care about this bill when the left can actually show me something id lose from it.

I’ve went as hard against RINO’s and traitor Republican Representatives as I have against Democrats. There are liberals and Democrats that have switched parties simply to sabotage.

I’m not left by any means. Do you think this wouldn’t be used against us? When has anything the Government passed a bill for never had serious side repercussions for the other side.

If people want to pass ambiguous laws, that have historically always backfired on the average citizen, and answer “I don’t care”, without thought, because feelings, you’re exactly part of the reason why we are in this mess. Stop and think a bit.

Why aren’t Government instead labeling Antifa and BLM as terrorist organizations? Why didn’t they do that Trumps first term? That would stop it and make the charges even harsher. Why should we all suffer consequences, for what they have done.
