I'd say that people who aspire to be le enlightened centrist and continue down that path after being given hard challenges that show that that's not how the world works are worse. They refuse to deny evil and refuse to follow a difficult path that would benefit the whole. I used to try to be a centrist, thinking that trying to take good ideas from both sides would lead to a better way forward. I discovered that such a path only makes you a mark ass bitch.
