i knew almost nothing about charlie and disliked him from what i did know, been binging his content and his interviews/podcast appearances over the long weekend

They're just a bunch of egoists with no sense of morality, they just want power. Their behavior makes no sense until you are willing to accept the fact that they have no sense of morality whatsoever, except when they accuse you of being the bad guy because you put a stop to their fun.

Every time Governor Cox has spoken unscripted during this situation, I've been so impressed. He has a very pre-2001 concept of what society should be. Shame he's Mormon and would never win the presidency, but clearly his faith has given him some clarity as to what should be prioritized in a healthy civilization.

Fuck they're out here saying that he's on suicide watch in the county jail which completely BLOWS. That's where they make you wear the "gladiator suit" which is like a one-piece tunic with no underwear and you're constantly being watched. You don't get any books or any entertainment whatsoever. They said the kid hasn't spoke about the assassination yet but I'm telling you one week in the turtle suit and he's going to be singing like the little gay canary that he is. They held me in county overnight for drunk and disorderly at a bar and I allegedly may have made some racial comments and got into a fight and I ended up having to wear that stupid gladiator suit overnight. 12 hours and I was already disoriented because they constantly keep the lights on at full blast, no windows, no clock, literally the only way to measure the passage of time is how many times you eat. He's going to be telling the homicide detectives everything just to get out of that fucking room and have a conversation with somebody.

I think that the detransitioners that the right elevates are not necessarily tools to promote detransition, but instead disrupt the pipeline to transition by waking up the right, middle, and profoundly out of touch liberals that the MSM narrative that trans medical experimentation on children and vulnerable adults is settled science, medically necessary, super rare (and therefore NBD, "why do you care so much, huh?"), and 100% effective is complete made up bullshit and always has been. It's to get people to vote for policies to keep it out of schools and libraries, be skeptical of grooming therapists and school counselors, question and not immediately affirm a kid that flirts with it, and break the cultural taboo on questioning this that the left successfully built over the last two decades using coercive control tactics.
The fact that the political right are primarily the ones providing detransitioners with a broader speaking platform than tiny X and youtube channels means that the trans will not listen to anything those particular detransitioners have to say, because their association with the right automatically puts them as diametrically culturally and politically opposed to anyone currently in the cult. The cult is dominated by people with autism and cluster B disorders: this community got a double barrel dose of us vs them, black/white thinking, before the cult dynamics even did their magic.
The poon -> TERF path is a better tool for promoting detransitioning because most of the TERF sphere is leftwing and shares a culture with pooner girls and have most of their values in common. It's often just the view on trans that divides the TERFs and pooners politically. The TERFs are a camp set up right outside poonerism, it's a much much smaller step to go poon to TERF than it is to go poon to the culture of right wing politics. They still need to decide take that step themselves. I don't know how you build a runway for the troons to detransition, that's for men to work out within their own culture and is not my business.
I think your heart here is in the right place, but this is a very seductive, insidious cult and people need to decide to leave it on their own, they aren't going to listen to heresy until they've already formed their own doubts.

So this tranny actually got a conversation going with a friend of mine, probably not gonna talk to him much after this but this whole event is actually tearing my friend's circles apart and this is an example. He texted me one of these comics (Most of my friends are acutely unawares of my political leanings since I keep it to myself irl) and I was like oh isn't that the guy who traced kids for furry porn or something? And he tells me Its not like those kids got hurt.
