Horrific yes, but at the end of the day it isn’t fundamentally any different than the myriad of public shootings we’ve been seeing. It was a mentally sick person targeting someone to attack. It indelibly highlighted the fact that Charlie Kirk's methods of peaceful and open debate have been summarily rejected by their opponents and that rational and peaceful compromise is impossible.
