Now I feel I am someone who errs on the side of "Make absolutely sure this post contributes to the topic on hand" and limit my own posting as a result, but the topic of Hogan (I won't call him HHH because the only HHH I recognize is
@Hunter Hearst Helmsley) is notable because he comes in here and intentionally causes so much disruption that Null would rather slap down widespread bans rather than permaban one sperg from A&N and save himself the headache. If Hogan doesn't have his way, he throws a tantrum, and mods and entire boards have to treat a single user with kid gloves as a result. There have been past times where he "claims" he won't come in here unprompted, but my impression is that he has no actual intention of abiding by that claim and just comes by whenever he wants to start trouble.
Hogan has shown that he has no intention of engaging in any sort of good faith or provide any real contribution. The greatest contribution I have seen him post on any board on the site was in the Business board, and it amounted to "Time in the market beats timing the market". Congratulations, that's on the level of the most braindead journalist, and that is the strongest argument I can give for not banning him from the site entirely. Users like Otterly contribute infinitely more, and yet they get slapped down just for attempting to engage in good faith with a single user who absolutely will not engage in good faith.
Honestly the simplest answer I see is to permaban him from the boards where mods/staff/users know he's not going to participate in good faith, and make a rule with some length (At Null or mod's discretion) of ban time for anyone who attempts to ping him. I feel like a significant amount of A&N issues (barring the 1-week/month old accounts who show up after an event) would go away as a result.
That's because you're using more logic than a tranny leftist. They're trying to deny that the shooter being in a relationship with a tranny means anything. They'll deny anything they have to, logic be damned.
