That might have been fresh when it happened - when Ethan came out on the H3 podcast & heavily implied he had evidence Denims was the person who made the CPS report (or told someone to make the report)/he had evidence proving Denims was heavily involved in the creation of his snark sub (evidence that has never materialized/Ethan clearly was lying about existing, or else it would have popped up by now in his Denims lawsuit?) I originally gave Ethan the benefit of the doubt, assuming he wouldn't be ballsy enough to openly lie or slander another Youtuber (especially one in Hasan's orbit). Obviously I was wrong.

These were my thoughts of the CPS saga when it first went down (1, 2, 3) I mostly called out Ethan for being a hypocrite & for pushing a made up narrative (i.e. all Reddit snarksubs are run by Nazis that organize trolling against Jews. In actuality, 99% of Reddit snarksubs focus snark on reality tv celebrities or Christian fundies - and none of them encourage fedposting/have rules against it). I also called him out for insisting that snarkers called CPS - as opposed to a doctor or medical professional 'cause on the podcast he literally talked about taking his kids to the doctor to be tested for Giardia 'cause he thought they accidentally consumed dogshit. If a parent tells their doctor "I think my toddlers put dogshit in their mouths & now caught a parasite infection" that's going to raise some red flags. At no point is "online snarker Nazis" the most logical explanation for his CPS visit.

Ethan's lying/lawsuit-fu is what I find most confusing about the CPS saga. OBVIOUSLY a CPS visit is horrific for any parent (I'm an injun, don't need to tell me twice about how child protective services has a long & storied history of corruption/not actually protecting children). But Ethan's attempt to reframe the visit to make himself a victim of Nazi Redditors/his Youtube enemies working with Nazi snarkers for some reason, was such an obvious bullshit narrative that didn't serve him any purpose aside making people double take the reason why he got CPS-called in the first place.

TLDR, Ethan dumb.
