Good news (depending on your framework): this shit is rapidly hitting the point where even moderate Americans are in favor of Trump completely ignoring the judiciary and just doing what he wants. It's a VERY short leap from that to an autocracy. Would such a thing hold? Would it be beneficial in the long term? Would it spark mass unrest? Unclear. But it's fucking something, and it's coming fast.
I've deconstructed why they didn't allow that shit to happen a few times, no one in Israel benefitted from it and it caused the most powerful people in Israel to be embarrassed. When you factor in the conceptia, the fact it was a Jewish holiday, the fact that the IDF was focused on the West Bank, and that many reservists weren't showing up because of protests against the judicial reform, the picture becomes clear.

Trump declaring the federal courts cannot bind the President since they are created by Congress and not explicitly layed out by the Constitution and declaring he will only listen to cases heard in full by the Supreme Court. Or just we're no longer listening to your injunctions and get back to us once all appeals are done with.
