The fact that Solo thought he was dropping a bombshell on Destiny by telling him that Rose was 17 should be evidence enough of that. But there's also the part where he told us that Destiny was upset that Rose wouldn't fly out because she should be old enough to not have to listen to her parents. I think the thread's interpretation of events are pretty funny, but I also don't think it's realistic that Destiny thought he was sexting with a minor and it seems pretty obvious that he's just a careless idiot who should be criticized for that rather than being a pedophile. We don't actually know if she rejected showing him her ID because her side was deleted. Those messages read to me like they were one right after the other without a response. It seems like his primary concern was that he was being catfished by someone and she offered to send a picture for proof that she was real. He said, preferably with ID and then I think he immediately followed up by saying something like, "but if that's too personal I understand" or something like that. I don't think she responded to him between those two message, I think he probably just broke what should have been one message into two. Idk, I don't have the messages in front of me. But I don't think she declined sending him an ID before he gave her the out. I think he was just willing to take her word for it because he's an idiot.

It just doesn't really square with me that he's going to fly out a minor and then argue that she's old enough to make her own decisions.
