I finished reading that article. It would not surprise me of civil unrest when welfare services would cease operation since that caste of people are entitled and enabled by the state they so love to hate to live hand to mouth under. Hell, the George Floyd riots would be a fraction of what those people would be capable of against a first world country.
 
A Chink spy has been arrested by the FBI in Texas yesterday

TLDR: Chink "research student" Li was being paid by the CCP while working at UofT for the NIH and took 90GB of data with him when he attempted to fly home.

A Chinese researcher has been charged with trying to steal medical reports funded by the US government and smuggle them back to China.

Yunhai Li, 35, who came to the US on a research scholar visa, is accused of trying to return home with a trove of sensitive research in a case that will probably heighten concerns about the espionage risk posed by Chinese students.
He resigned on July 1 after allegedly downloading 90 gigabytes of confidential files from the federally-funded project before it was finished. On July 9, he was stopped at customs at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport as he tried to board a flight to China.
The Harris County district attorney’s office said investigators “found evidence Li was attempting to take sensitive medical information abroad during an inspection of his belongings.” He was later released but arrested on August 22.
According to police reports, Mr Li acknowledged that MD Anderson would probably publish the work in the near future, but told investigators that he felt it was “going to waste” and intended to “continue his research” in China.
Court documents reportedly revealed that Mr Li was receiving grant funding from a Chinese state-controlled science foundation and was receiving a salary from a state-affiliated hospital.



Wow a chink student spying for Chairman Meow while pretending to work at a high level US university! I would never have guessed!! You just know that for every one they catch there are ten getting back to Chinkland scott free.

Time to deport every single Chink "student" in the West. Each and every one of them is either compromised by threats against their families back home (chink students can only go overseas if they have family left in China) or are directly working for Chairman Meow by sending a copy of everything they're doing back to China. Get them all out ASAP, China is not a friendly ally but a rival nation with zero scruples.

I disagree, I prefer when things do exactly what they say on the tin. Department of defense is vague, what do they defend? Why do they sometimes go on the offense? Compared to the US Dept of War, I know what war entails. It's broader but also more defined. Someone getting scared by the word War needs a brain check.

I like that name change. It not only sounds delightfully sinister, it’s more appropriate too. Nobody is doing a genuine invasion of the United States any decade soon, our operations for protecting the country are pretty much all abroad these days. So I say let it be WAR!
 
I'm pro Department of War. Renaming it was another gay postwar alteration of an American institution.

On a related note, it'll be amusing in a few decades when it's weird to watch older media and find "Dee-oh-Dee" sounds strange and quaint because we've become used to "Dee-oh-Dub".
