This is a problem where a whole class of people find quietly serving and catering to middle America to be intolerable. You can see it in the language about the brand not having "relevance". The thing is, I don't really think that is woke, not that I have a perfectly specific definition. But I think it's something even more insidious and deeper, something older. Maybe we need to develop some theory around this and get a term for it, it would be great to be able to quickly identify it and call it out so women like this simply don't get hired to run Budweiser and shit like that.

There's already a term that covers this -- "deconstructionism." It's an entire school of thought that essentially argues we need to tear down all that is and was because it's all terrible for some arbitrary reasons, and then "something better" will replace it. No need to build it or anything ... someone else will take care of that (or at least, that's what deconstructionists think). But whatever's present needs to go because Bad People made it and it's Bad.
