Trip Report: tried the canned mackerel last weekend, it was more solid chunks of fish, did not go onto my cheese and crackers as well as the sardines (my preferred sardine delivery method), probably won't do again.
You should. King Oscar mackerel in olive oil is really good - squeeze some lemon juice into the can and then a few drops of soy sauce. Fresh anchovies are also very tasty, if you can find them.

I was surprised to learn that Bill and Hill only have a net worth of 30 million.

Don't get me wrong that's a lot of money but you'd think after fifty years of smuggling arms, taking bribes from dictators, and sex trafficking orphans you'd have a lot more than that.

I guess being an actual supervillian doesn't pay like it used to.
When Bill left office they cranked up the Clinton Foundation and began laundering literally billions of dollars in donations for... err, charity. It ramped up bigly during her Presidential campaign, all those important people ponying up more and more for... err, charity. Then the impossible happened and she lost to Trump. The Clinton Foundation all but folded up shop overnight. All those donations abruptly stopped. Poor charities.

Charity? Another word for "scam" lol (except local, they're the only real ones)

In about 2 hours from now (central daylight time) YouTube will begin its AI age verification “update”. This update will score through the users search history to determine if they are over 18 and if the AI concludes you are under 18 it will lock some of your abilities and force you to submit your I’d in order to have a decent viewing experience. The age of the sanitized internet is dead, now the age of policing has begun, the Internet will now become tool of mass surveillance and censorship unlike which that has never been seen before, and if YouTube succeededs then all major tech companies will follow. The internet is not dead, it is a reanimated corpse.

Will no one stand up to the cucks pushing this big brother bullshit!?

Youtube hasn't been remotely user friendly since like 2012, this is hardly a shock.

But forcing themselves into the sanctity of marriage (in the religious sense) was just another way to force themselves onto everyone else, much like pride month, pride parades, drag queens reading books to kids in libraries, etc., has been.

Subversion of religion, particularly Christianity, was always the real long term goal, you keep pushing until you get fags and dykes as preachers and priests and rot away one of the central pillars of western civilization, classic Marxism.

Okay he just threatened outright to rig an election. Texas has not characterized it that way, but he can't deny it is his purpose now if he acts as he described. Is this not a crime?

Excuse me chud, it's called PROTECTING DEMOCRACY

Remember guys, stopping crime is a Jewish plot.

WTF I love Jews now?!!!

Will no one stand up to the cucks pushing this big brother bullshit!?

No because we have to protect the children, since all the people having them collectively became lazy losers. Same with the Republicans are trying to do their own version of that retarded UK internet law

Youtube classifies a lot of teenage or young adult cartoon content as something for toddlers or Youtube kids as they call it.

Like the Batman Animated Series.

Will no one stand up to the cucks pushing this big brother bullshit!?

They murdered people that did.

Like Aaron Schwartz.

If you haven't had a mid range can of sardines, you are really missing out. Spam (either bacon or maple) is top tier as well. Spam isn't someone wild ass crazy mystery meat, it's literally the trimming off the spiral style hams you see around the holidays, and if you cut it about 1/4 inch thick and fry it in just a touch of butter it's so good. vienna sausages are much better than they used to be as well. the "smoked" flavor is top notch. all three of them are idea for shelf stable up to 3-4 years. it's not as good long term as rice/beans or whatever, but it's still real good.

That concludes tasty canned foods with sammich, THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

Black people aren't accountable for their own behavior. OK, fine, institutionalize them.
Nah, that's unkind. Instead we should give them free housing, and some form of simple, easy to do labor they can be tasked with to contribute to society.

... Like simple agricultural work.

agreed.
since alcohol is worse than simple weed, it should be illegal too (just ignore what happened 100 years ago, it's for the good of society). nicotine next, and given how fat everyone is sugar too.

enjoy your literal tasteless, joyless slop!
Unironically yes.

From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me.

This. The “weed should be legal” crowd are either potheads or people who have never been around potheads. Legal weed leads to crime, litter, the worst smell on the planet, and general filth. I never tried pot growing up because I saw how badly it fucked up every single person around me who partook in it. It’s truly a vile drug.
And before someone tries to do the “but muh tobacco and muh alcohol” I don’t think those should be legal either. To be honest, I’m even skeptical about caffeine
Honestly I think the main reason why prohibition failed was because it went too hard and too fast. Alcohol should've gone the way of cigarettes, where people slowly see it as a drug just for losers rather than a drug with any redeeming qualities and the government slowly tightens the regulation noose around it. America is already a nation where alcoholism isn't that big of an issue relatively speaking, Eastern Euro countries in comparison are enslaved to alcohol. Slavs are so alcoholic that even the Bosniaks still drink alcohol even though they are Muslim.

I'd like to see someone come up with identifying criteria for gerrymandering before looking at any of the maps and apply it state by state uniformly to look at them fairly. Not look at all the states and come up with reasons red states are super gerrymandered and blue states dindunuffin like they usually do.
I'm genuinely interested in the topic but most stuff I've seen on it is completely skewed towards one side or the other.
I made some attempt. I decided to define gerrymandering as districts drawn such that one party has outsized representation compared to its 2024 Presidential election results. Simply divide the percentage of reps that belong to the majority party in that state by the percentage of votes that went to the majority party's Presidential candidate (i.e. Harris in California, Trump in Florida), and this should give you a decent proxy of gerrymandering.

I ignored any state with only 3 or fewer House reps, since you don't have to draw weird lines to have them both go with the majority with so few districts.

The most gerrymandered states:
StateTotal reps% vote to majority% reps to majorityDifference
Iowa455.7% (R)100%44%
Connecticut556.4% (D)100% (D)44%
Utah459.4% (R)100% (R)41%
Massachusetts961.2% (D)100% (D)39%
Arkansas464.2% (R)100% (R)36%
Oklahoma566.2% (R)100% (R)34%
Illinois1754.4% (D)82% (D)28%
Nevada447.5% (D)75% (D)28%

There does not appear to be a partisan trend.

The most gerrymandered states:
I call bullshit on the Oklahoma one. Dems are never winning this state, no matter how wackadoodle the election maps are. Also, vast swarths of Oklahoma are literal desert wilderness (like, basically no one lives in the panhandle) so I'd imagine the election maps out west are a bit wacky.

That tweet says other real estate agents can't compete with the ethnic real-estate agent who only takes a flat $500 to $1000 fee. Well, why the fuck not? They certainly figured out how to compete with you greedy fucks.
I actually have a smidge of knowledge in this area through family working with real estate agents for inspections.
This is two interconnected things:

1) Pure ethnic gatekeeping means that the more that is owned by a particular ethnic group (Chinese or Indian) the more of the market is completely cut off from normal real estate agents.

2) By doing the above the agents effectively have unionized and pushed out any non-ethnic agents from large swathes of the market, forming a defacto monopoly across increasingly large swathes of the nation.

Welcome back to ethnicity based market control, featuring absolute retards who only get to keep this ship sailing through several generations worth of connections now.

It also says this practice is cutting them out because it drives huge volumes.... Well, fucking d'uh! Lowering prices increases demand? Whocouldaknowd!

The prices aren't actually lower, they're merely ignored because Chinese/Indian. The demand is entirely based off of them not merely playing the system, but outright cheating because it's more profitable long term to MANY different interests around, including banks and other agencies.

Fuck real-estate agents and their 6% commissions for doing fuck-all. You should've all been allowed to starve to death after causing the 2008 crash and subsequent reinflation to even higher imaginary values.

Real estate agents were meant to be the personality behind a home selling, and the ones with the know-how to actually sell to someone who will make payments on time and not fuck up. Now it's just car salesmen who sell and don't give a shit once it's off the lot.

The banks and corpos owned properties needing to pretend to give a shit isn't for your sake, it's so they can blame the agent later for when the roof leaks or there's an "unfortunate" housefire because wiring was bad. I don't blame real estate agents, not truly, it's just the same (((problem))) that's in every other market.

Um, isn't Indians & Chinese doing shady mortgage fraud shenanigans the main reason behind Canada's housing crisis?

welp according to crackpot Dem Rep Jasmine "Yas Slay Queen" Crockett this action by Texas is the first shot fired in a new civil war

You go gurl!
well, she is dumb as a bag of hammers but she isn't all wrong. The first Civil war was not about slavery alone. Slavery was just what broke the camel's back. The real reason there was war was as follows:
  • Divisions over how much autonomy the states have.
  • Differences in culture.
  • Economics.
None of the above were solved by the war. States from both sides are challenging federal authority right now. The division between Urban and Rural is stronger than ever (correlates to the difference between the industrial north and agrarian south). Economically the nation is so-so, but Democrat states are on the downswing to high tax burdens/regulation while the south/midwest is taking the lead in industry and population, siphoning votes, congressional seats and electoral power from the Left.

Prohibition did not fail. It took decades for alcohol consumption to reach pre-prohibition levels after it was repealed.
The mafia also did not grow nearly as large because of prohibition as it did for various other things on top of their crimes being overlooked.

The reason prohibition is always said to have “failed” is because FDR only repealed it to try and make his new deal policies look like a success for the economy when all he did was open up new revenue at the expense of the safety of the country.

Prohibition by all means was a success and would have been even more successful had laws just been properly enforced across the board. Saying prohibition failed is like saying border control failed. It suddenly stops failing when competency returns
