I'm not sure how judges are elected in Texas, but in my state, (some?) judges are appointed first and then added to the ballot to retain or not retain after the fact. Most judges are retained by default because nobody knows better. I mark "Do Not Retain" if they're a woman or a foreigner.

They have bones but they are cooked to the point of basically being inpercieveable. They sell boneless and skinless but they just taste worse and don't give as much calcium if you've never had deenz before get some Fishwife or Nuri deenz and try them. They're expensive (5 bucks a tin) but I think if you like them you'll like most deenz.
