Agreed, except for the Big Youtuber dreams. Phil still has that with his pathetic attempts to go viral. I can't blame him because Youtube has been his golden ticket for life.

We don't see behind da scenes though. We've seen a few of his leaked DMs to other people. Phil is the biggest pushover, begging, dick sucker there is in private convos. He could be acting a total bitch cry baby in discord and DMs to the few that support him. And although Phil is a rare breed, there are bound to be people on his level out there and he is probably the only person they even conversate with. It's not surprising to me that people would pay to keep their only "friend". We've heard a little here and there from his biggest cuck, and dude sounds like the type of person that'd need to spend tens of thousands to keep a social partner around.

at this point, anyone shouldn't be upset if phil scams them. ffs he pulled the "krabby patty" scam again last night and people are surprised by that. how? he always tries to find a way our of things. I swear the weens are worst than the dents now
 
Man, those dents really got me again letting Phil hit his goals. I would HATE if they gave him another $1k for his next marathon. I’m out having a happy and productive life, but Phil keeps on WINNING.

I would say it's the usual suspect: a full-blown midlife crisis and he tries to soothe the nagging feeling that he has wasted every opportunity and now tries to rewrite his history

You have to just come to terms with the fact that everything that comes out of Phil's mouth is to self-soothe. He's never talking to his viewers, he's only ever lying talking to himself.

A more banal example but this is what he does whenever he talks about a playthrough of his from the past, he always makes sure to say that he's mastered the game, that he beat most of the bosses on the first try/was in the top 1% of players if it's a multiplayer game, that people were in awe of how effortless he made everything look. He even says this for the games he's ragequit.

Phil is this way with everything. He was great and mastered everything he's ever done. It's like he took "fake it 'til you make it" advice way too far, and unlike most men who do it to fake confidence and win over other people, it's pointless for Phil to be like this.

It was funny to see him hate on THPS3+4, claiming he was better at THPS1+2 when you go back and watch that its the same level of skill. Then you go back to his THPS5 playthrough 9 years ago and its the same as then. He might have even gotten worse. And yes THPS3 has some zanier goals than the first 2, but he was getting bronze medals in competitions and acting like he beat the level in THPS1+2. He doesn't even understand aligning the wheels to land properly.
