I died when I heard LTG said "He looks like he went through a Stargate portal and aged 100 years". PPP and Warski were correct - he really did age a lot after Leanna left him. I hadn't thought about this until now.
I used to be in the camp of "Phil would be way more successful if he leaned into the drama" but was proven wrong during the KC arc specifically because of how bad Phil is at shit talking. He's too thin skinned to handle people insulting him, and he's too gin brained to clapback. Even on social media, where he has time to prepare and think about what he's going to say. In hindsight, it shouldn't be a surprise that the hermit who spent the last 15 years avoiding any sort of social interactions isn't particularly clever when it comes to dishing out insults.
