The Steve interview really is the greatest piece of journalism we have seen in the DSP universe. Not only was it top tier entertainment, it also was the beginning of the end of the Kasino arc and laid the ground work for the insane King Snake narrative. Even with his usual insane mental gymnastics, Phil himself knows how terrible this has made him look and it will never make sense other than him looking like a complete lunatic in every possible scenario.

Don’t forget, he proceeded to beat the boss by “mashing buttons randomly” and then went into toxic clown mode. Very similar to the bulldozer puzzle in Tears of the Kingdom where he was too lazy to construct the bulldozer.
