I can say with almost full certainty that they are in a cheap apartment/condo/townhome or whatever this place would be classified as in Canada.

On July 26th, when she was baking cookies for the kid's upcoming birthday party, it was not in her mom's kitchen. Make note of the cheap trim on the cabinets, the line of trim on the edge of the countertop, and that very basic dishwasher. This is not her mom's kitchen.

In the August 3rd dog measuring post, the same trim and tiles. In the background, you can see beyond the railing that the ceiling slants downward, indicating a stairway. I'm not sure how it is in Canada, but a kitchen at the top of the stairs tells me there's only a door to the exterior at the bottom of those steps.
