Sadfu, as she was affectionately called, was /tv/'s darling for many years. Most people remember her for those trashy comedies she did all throughout the 2010s, but Adam (2009) was my first introduction to her. Her screen presence was simply magnetic, and she has that graceful, melancholic and luminous femininity perfectly suited for drama. A goddamn shame she did those trashy Apatow movies, but whatever pays the bills, I suppose.

With that criteria, I want to get this rolling. Myrna Loy, best known as being Nora Charles from the murder mystery romantic comedy series, The Thin Man. Loy's chemistry with William Powell from those films are naturally done from Nora's sly sassiness and Nick's perfect demeanor as a male blending together.

Her accent and dryness complements her character quite well. She doesn't need to overact, she just does.

Normal dudes are really into her. A showbiz friend gave me a life-size poster of her back in the Freaks & Geeks days. (He just knew.) I would affectionately refer to Clark Gable as THE ladies man of Golden Age Hollywood since he was often paired with high profile ladies like Joan Crawford, Jean Harlow and Greta Garbo. You look at him and he was THE figurehead for charismatic, masculine men. Well dressed, stern, charming, polite. I can see it. I'm actually envious of him.

Fun fact: she can perform funny, but she doesn't see herself as a funny person. That's talent.
