I'll say this much about Sam, it's incredibly obnoxious that every single discussion on his faults has to be had over the chorus of ass-suckers braying "you don't get it, man! It's an elaborate 30-Dimensional Chess move, man! Sam actually secretly slipped Nick Rochefort LSD before Harland so he'd freak out, you don't get it mannnnn!" I'm not even particularly impressed with Marky-posting since it's only ever used as a cudgel by people mad at Sam for other reasons, but damn is this getting obnoxious.
 
I'll say this much about Sam: when he built the gorilla nest, I did NOT like it. Who the fuck uses a table? Made no sense. Clearly Nick was thinking the same thing you could see it on his face. The only thing running through his head was "Teardown. Teardown. Teardown. Cheap $500 bullshit. Shoulda used the gorilla twigs what the fuck were they thinking?" Erick was right there he could've built it right. So much for that Netflix deal.

It's not even a hit piece. It filled in a lot of the glaringly obvious (if you were there) holes in Buckingham's video, gave some other folks credit, and provided a lot of good, never before seen info & clips. Which fans (like myself) generally appreciate. Anything approaching "hit piece" territory was handled with maturity. He seems to look back on his time with MDE fondly and does not come off as bitter.

Were any of the Hyde Defense Squad folks in this thread OG MDE fans or are you just *Sam Hyde* fans? James Price was there for all the best MDE content, and a large part of the reason for the good sound in those videos. Why are any of you even on an internet gossip website if you don't like internet gossip? Contain yourselves, Sam is a big boy and he can handle some people telling their side of soured business events and friendships online without someone white-knighting for him.

The fact that you are posting about how much you like the "documentary" is a very good indicator towards it being tantamount to an advertisement.
 
i remember seeing someone in this thread talk about how technology retarded sam is. despite you know... being a YouTuber/streamer but in this clip, sam makes it seem like you have to reconfigure an entire OS in order to remove bloatware when it takes a single command to remove Microsoft sign-in in powershell
