How do you not figure out how to draw Donald Trump of all people? He's the easiest guy on the planet to make some parody of and the moron can't even get that right. Absolute simpleton.
 
I would have never guessed that those two guys were supposed to be Trump and Elon without reading the posts in this thread. Looking at that video at first I thought it was just Ben showing off a new fetish for serial killers (which given his track record wouldn't be too much of a shock.) It's clear that Ben puts all his focus in art into the aspects he cares about (i.e. coomer shit) and completely ignores everything else. You don't even have to do that much to make a Trump or Elon caricature clear. Put a fucking X hat or a MAGA hat on them and that would be enough. If you're going to politisperg put some effort into it. Most political "Art" like this is just self masturbatory but that wasn't good enough for Ben so he had to make it center around a "babe" in a bikini shaking around. Mixing your murder fantasies and your wet dreams is a disaster waiting to happen.

Instead, he's complaining about ICE arresting rapists and murderers. This is precisely why he needs to return to the closet, lest he forget his past behavior concerning cartoon little girls.

In all seriousness though, he is a perfect example of the type of people that get accused of watching Fox News or CNN all day and get called NPCs. He wants to talk about politics and issues that society is facing but lacks any actual knowledge about said topics.

He has no intellectual curiosity and doesn't understand how to research anything or look for multiple sources and check for bias, so he just resorts to parroting whatever the most outrageous sounding headlines he sees on his social media feed or sees on TV. It seems like he's trying to do the whole"breadtube" bit without understanding any of the points they make.

Although much like his coming out video, it just rings hollow and insincere. He was making "satirical" videos about Hitler and kissing Shadmans ass while acting like an out and proud sex pest like two years prior and when back tracking tried to say it was just his edgy phase like he was 16 and not nearly 30. I also think he kinda missed the window of opportunity to have a profitable progressive politics based YouTube channel by a few years.

Probably because, much like animation, the basic fundamentals of art, education, common social interactions, workplace etiquette and politics, and normal politics Ben doesn't understand YouTube or it's ecosystem and trends. As an aside, when the hell did he start calling himself B.J Holliday? Is this a reference to something I'm just not familiar with?

Is his art actually somewhat decent now? These sketches he's doing in these videos don't look too bad. This motherfucker's been an artist for what, 15 years now? And he's only now improving?

I mean this was the extent of his "artistic skills" for a long ass time

I'm no artist but, I have however dabbled in sketching on and off for years and own most of Andrew Loomis's books. It seems like he tends to draw most figures from the same perspective. In both of the YouTube thumbnails and the puffy Ami Yumi picture it feels like you are viewing them from the side as they are sort of facing the viewer. I don't know the proper term for the perspective, pardon my ignorance like I said I'm no artist.

It feels like he doesn't understand the concept of translating 3D objects into a two dimensional space which may be why the shadows look so strange, because he doesn't understand the objects dimensions so he can't figure out where his light source is coming from and how they should interact with each other. If I had to guess I'd say he most likely compensates for this by calling it "stylized." I don't know what program he is using to draw but, if I recall correctly doesn't clip studio and probably a few other programs have 3D objects and features that that show roughly where your shadows should be depending on light source specifically to mitigate these types of problems?

It just feels like If he's really as serious about art as he claims he should know these things, or at least be aware of the tools available to help in the areas he struggles. If this is the level he is truly content with, he might as well install stable diffusion slap his signature PNG in the corner of his generations and call it a day.
