An in-depth study should be done about how the Eisenhower administration was able to make the GI Bill work, which led to a boom in the middle class. The country is going backward to an era when there were rich and poor and not much in between.

As a burger who's been to the Big Apple and the South, most MAGAs you will meet in person are well-meaning, but ignorant people who fell for the propaganda of making America great again. People have political differences. Most MAGA people have no idea the extent of Trump's actions or the repercussions from them, or how Trump has tried covering his ass by backing off repeatedly on stuff like tariffs as soon as there was serious pushback (hence the TACO Trump thing).

So many have no idea Trump has been doing anything that cruel, stupid, or otherwise incompetent. The angriest I've heard some mega Republicans the past few days was just over hearing over that little league, because it's so petty there's no good justification for it no matter how much a fan of Trump you are.

But then Democrats also have plenty bad things that their voters are completely unaware of, because most people treat politics as team sports and ignore anything their opposition (or those recognized as such) bring up about their party.

Those MAGA people are often perfectly fine as neighbors and you just randomly get glimpses of how people, such as them, really view the world which can be plain goofy.
