I also doubt that there's any trans specific name change form (and the relevant tweet suggests there isn't), so the information required is required of everyone seeking a name change. Maybe that sucks balls if you've lived a transient lifestyle, but it's not something which disadvantages trans people in particular.

If it helps, no one actually thinks Toren is "brave." To be "brave" as a trans woman would involve engaging with society - attempting to face the difficulties and build a normal life. Slingblade, meanwhile, is an unemployed, rent-dodging leech who demands special treatment for doing nothing in his life but engaging in self-indulgence.

This is exactly what I mean by special treatment. Every inconvenience is treated like it's some deliberate attempt to target troons specifically. When Eden got stopped by the police and had to show his ID, he was being forced to reveal his deadname. When Obamacare got targeted by Trump, it was because Trump hates trannies.
I'm not going to deny that there are aspects of life that are difficult when you're trans, but I wish they'd just focus on those instead of trying to make everything about them. Mind you, I suppose the fewer trans-specific problems they have, the fewer excuses they have for fucking their lives up.

It's not the ER doctor's job to provide you with hormones. Their job is to treat medical emergencies, not act as your GP. A trans person running out of estrogen is not a medical emergency.
