Just as a rule, like how you’re supposed to vigorously defend against any trademark misuse even if it seems frivolous, trying to delay/depose/deny for subpoena requests is generally the sign of a site or service that tries.

This is why 1) you're told flat-out never to use an email address you're personally associated with when you sign up for KF and 2) all operational logs are purged as quickly as possible to limit their usefulness (and save space, tbh -- this is a busy site). I forget what Null said the retention period is, but it ain't the 5-7 years big companies are expected to maintain. It's more on the order of "3 days."
