It makes perfect sense if you are using unitary everything, where your data range is [0,1], this makes it easy to make everything that is "at least halfway there" evaluate as true. This is quite common in many use cases to normalize your data ranges to [0, 1]Code sperg but what retard in the Gamemaker dev team decided that "<= 0.5" being falsey was good language design? Are they retarded? Did Maldavius Figtree social engineer his way onto the Gamemaker dev team???
