Basically video game "the crew" is a good example. Sold for 60 dollars. No declaration of an expiration date. No renting. No monthly subscription. People bought this. And then 1 day turned off their servers making it PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE to play in ANY capacity. This can be avoided in dozens of ways, allowing single player offline, allowing a private server launcher, ect, but instead the purchase was rendered useless.

THAT is killing games, it happens a lot, people are sick of it.

This is LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE with some games. The crew in particular, you COULD NOT pirate the crew because its always online. You COULD NOT access those files.
